This is what we have to look forward to for the next 4 years from the mainstream left, starting with Crooks and Liars, the perfect name for a Progressive blog
As we predicted before the election, Barack Obama’s victory has loosed a flood of hatefulness from the racist right in America. Digby yesterday had a detailed post laying out some of the cases that have erupted so far.

In rural Georgia, a group of high-schoolers gets a visit from the Secret Service after posting “inappropriate” comments about President-elect Barack Obama on the Web. In Raleigh, N.C., four college students admit to spraying race-tinged graffiti in a pedestrian tunnel after the election. On Nov. 6, a cross burns on the lawn of a biracial couple in Apolacon Township, Pa.
The election of America’s first black president has triggered more than 200 hate-related incidents, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center – a record in modern presidential elections. Moreover, the white nationalist movement, bemoaning an election that confirmed voters’ comfort with a multiracial demography, expects Mr. Obama’s election to be a potent recruiting tool – one that watchdog groups warn could give new impetus to a mostly defanged fringe element.
Yes, there is not doubt that there are jerks out there on both sides. People who go too far in expressing their so called First Amendment Rights. People who just do not take in to consideration what the phrase “being an adult” means.
According to that AP piece, neo-Nazi Web entities like Stormfront have seen a serious spike in business.
C&L then mentions the little t-shirt experiment that Chicago teen Catherine Vogt engaged in, seeing what would happen if she wore a “McCain Girl” t-shirt to school one day, then a “Obama Girl” one the next. But, according to C&L, what has been happening on “the right” is much, much worse. Of course.
There is a massive difference, though: most of these people expressing the hatred are massively far right, are massively fringe players, and are people that we do not want. We want nothing to do with people from sites like Stormfront, and, remember, Ron Paul was flayed for taking money from neo-Nazi’s like Leo Metzger and for an ad on Stormfront. We do not tolerate these folks, and want them to all piss off.
On the other side of the aisle, we have had massive hate on a continuous basis since Bush was elected. Michelle Malkin wrote a book about it. She has a whole category specifically about the Left’s fantasies about assassinating President Bush. The Huff Post has taken to closing posts that are about some bad thing, some hospital visit, some medical problem, etc, that happens to people on the right, for fear that bloggers on the Right will pick up on the massive hate and wishes for death. I have tons of hate posts and comments from those on the Left in several categories, as does Right Wing News, Moonbattery, and others.
We had years of those on the Left thrilling at the proposition of posting higher and higher body counts from Iraq. The blogging leader on the Left, Markos Moulitos, had his famous “screw ‘em” post. And let’s not forget some of the comments by Democrat electa-critters, who compared G’itmo to a Soviet gulag, Abu Ghraid under the Coalition forces to Saddam’s thugs, and called our troops dumb, as well as cold blooded killers. The big difference here is that these are mostly the mainstream Left. Not fringe players. And those on the left rarely say “dude (or dudette), you are going way too far.” The typical behavior is to either ignore the issue, or cheer them on.
So, when it is the mainstream Right engaging in this type of behavior, then I’ll be concerned. Barking Moonbats on the left should clean their own house before casting aspersions. When commenters at Michele Malkin, Hot Air, Powerline forums, Ace of Spades, Free Republic, etc, start laughing at bad things that happen to Barry and his folks, then I’ll be worried. When Boortz, Hannity, or Rush start having assassination skits like the ones by Randy Rhodes (not that a comparison between the greats and a barely listened to hack are fair), then I’ll be concerned. Till then, keep your hysterical rhetorical BS to yourselves, Moonies!

I think the most important lesson of the Bush administration is that he was truly a bi-partisan president. As a direct consequence, all it got him from the left was to be the most reviled president in history.
Think the thought through, when you do your best to accommodate and respect someone, and the better you treat them, the worse they treat you…well eventually you have to wake up.
These liberals need to be opposed on all fronts at all costs. Even if you agree with them, you must oppose them, and when they are defeated, if some of their points had any validity, you make them on your own as your own.
Conservatives must become active now and stay active until the threat of socialism has passed.
Actually, they operate sort of like terrorists. The more you give them, the more they demand. So, it’s best to nip it in the bud and give them nothing at all. Some people just want to be beggars and there is nothing you can do to help them if they do not want to help themselves.

Well, let’s think that over before we get too sanctimonious. These people are more than half right in their worldview. They already understand that the so-called minority races are already at war with the White Race. There is nothing wrong with pride in what our ancestors accomplished upon this Earth. Without us, life would still be tribal, brutal, and short.
Race First is what is practised by every black and hispanic organization in America. Race Realism is the only thing that will protect OUR race from the demands of the so-called minority crowd. Do you imagine that blacks will drop the call for reparations, more affirmative action, more welfare checks and benefits now that one of their own sits in the Oval Office? Of course not. It has nothing to do with fighting the phantom of “raaaaycism!” It has everything to do with asserting demographic power, allocation of resources, and hating you, Whitey.
I have taken much time to educate many of the Stormfront types away from anti-Semitism. It is truly that most damaging and unproductive view to which they hold, and they only hold it because they haven’t been taught the truth. Hate Soros because he is an anti-American anti-White Communist, not because he is Jewish. We will never recover our place in the world under the Swastika or the Crescent (as David Duke seems to believe). We can, however fight for ourselves and our children with a certitude that there is no crime in being White, you are not a racist simply because you believe the everyone in America should work for a living, that Our contribution to Civilization is way out of proportion to our numbers, that the best person should alwaya get the job, the promotion, the place at university or in the fire service, or that you are entitled to be the proud heir of your own culture. If Africans do not like it, Africans can go to African countries which are now all ruled by Africans, wholly owned by Africans, and 99% populated by Africans. Did I forget to mention that they are all failing? They fired the White scientists who ran the power plants and replaced them with unqualified people who can’t do math. Result? Dark nights, spoiled food, no medicine.
Unless we want our children to live in an America that resembles Detroit, Haiti, Zimbabwe, or Honduras, we must stand up with anyone who isn’t bamboozled by the race-hustling nonsense of Farrakhan, Jackson, Obama, and Sharpton. Race Realism is the corner stone of the fight we are in. The other races know it and act accordingly. It won’t help our future on single bit to carry on as if we are in one of those Hollywood movies where all the Whites are child-abusing crackers and all the blacks are saintly, downtrodden, brilliant scientists who only want the chance to be treated as equals! We must engage the Stormfront types, the Klan types, and bring them into the 21st century. I guarantee you that Obama did not try to improve the worldview of the Black Panthers and the Black Muslims, both of which hate Jews, Whites, Hispanics, everyone not Black, Muslim, or both. All he wanted was their votes, and their guns and goon squads in some cities. We don’t want to hate anyone, we just want a rational world that can continue to progress unencumbered by the pretense of equality. Equality of opportunity, yes. Equality of outcome would mean 5′ tall accountants playing for the Lakers, and lil-John performing your heart surgery. It does no good to pretend we believe what we know is false just because it makes everyone feel good. That isn’t how you cure cancer, it isn’t how you create an economy that drives prosperity. It is how your society falls into ruins and eventually dies. The Zimbabweans pretended just the same thing and their life expectancy has gone from 70 years under Ian Smith, to 36 years under their man Mugabe. That was for all races, by the way. Black, White, everyone. Starvation reigns where once everyone ate like Americans, Lack of medicine where once the hospitals ran air ambulance corps. I guess that showed those racist Rhodesians who was boss!
Let’s not use the Leftist criteria to determine the worth of people. Let’s not write off people who may not be our enemies. Let’s not write off people we may need. Let’s try to educate them, bring them around, and hopefully they can help us shake off the foolishness of the “I have a Dream” speech long enough to save our civilization.

Being a “non racist” today is impossible. No real reason to try. Jimmy Carter get’s called an anti semite. Bill Clinton was called a racist during the primarys. Why bother trying to out do them? You say that like it’s a bad thing. If you are white and hang out with Black Power pals, when they are done with you they will rip you to shreds. You aren’t one with them. You are one with your biology, your heritage, your culture. Trying to deny it is a madness akin to going to live in the woods and pretending you are a wolf. Once the food you bring runs out, the wolves will eat you.
If you are black, have fun with Farrakhan, and Sharpton (Jew murderers, White haters) and the Black Panthers. You will no doubt let me know how critical these black hate groups are to “your” people, and in the same breath tell me that my White brothers, family, and heritage should shut up and go to hell. Right? The difference between you and me is that my heritage is the civilization in which you live. I embrace it, and because I am one of the most highly evolved beings on the planet, I can tolerate hearing other sentiments. I can allow for the Black Panthers and the Black Muslims to say whatever they wish, and assemble peaceably for whatever purpose. Because you are less evolved, or because you have abandoned your own culture, you can’t understand what is required to live in a Republic, where people hold different views and all are protected. It is the opposite of what life is like in backwards, tribal, 3rd world societies that are inhabited by people of the same genetic makeup as Obama, Sharpton, Farrakhan, Wright et al. It’s funny how little attention the MSM pays to Africa. The levels of violence and horror are staggering if you happen to notice. For the most part they’ll pick a pet story to report on, and that will be it for 5-10 years, this ethnic turmoil, that famine. And it will dominate the news for however long.
But if you really look at Africa, and what’s really going on, the horror is daily. In a way I forgive the MSM because there is too much to really keep up with without losing interest.
I also have to add how completely they forgot about all of the violence in Kenya during the primary between BHO and Hillary. Down the memory hole.
