Hillary to Accept Secretary of the State Job

Hillary Clinton

The fun begins! The real dream team has arrived to usher in the new age of change! Conservatives, brace yourselves!

Hillary Clinton plans to accept the job of secretary of state offered by Barack Obama, who is reaching out to former rivals to build a broad coalition administration, the Guardian has learned…

Clinton would be well placed to become the country’s dominant voice in foreign affairs, replacing Condoleezza Rice. Since being elected senator for New York, she has specialised in foreign affairs and defense. Although she supported the war in Iraq, she and Obama basically agree on a withdrawal of American troops.

Clinton, who still harbours hopes of a future presidential run, had to weigh up whether she would be better placed by staying in the Senate, which offers a platform for life, or making the more uncertain career move to the secretary of state job.

Ameripundit:

This should present an interesting soap opera. Clinton, while agreeing with Obama on issues like withdrawing from Iraq, has strongly opposed unconditional (or “without preparation” as Obama says) talks with nations like Iran. She says it would set the American president to be used for propaganda purposes. Obama disagrees. Now she’ll serve as the nation’s top diplomat.

More: I’m pretty sure this is good news (considering Clinton’s relatively hawkish stance) but what I’m not sure of is how this represents “change”. Clinton isn’t exactly some new, Washington outsider with a long history of reform. Her family name is synonymous with political favors and politics as usual. This all seems rather familiar.

Ace:

Open Senate seat for Rudy?

I am genuinely surprised by her decision. There is no “first” here, she’ll serve at the behest of a President whose foreign policy is, supposedly, much more left-wing and pacifist than her own, and she just wrote off any hope of becoming president.

A video for thoughts from Hot Air:

I’ll say what no one else seems to want to….watch your back Barack!

Senator Clinton admitted that she didn’t have “all the facts” prior to voting for the Iraq War. And in hingsight she claims she now has all the facts and is decidedly against it. This is the same person who claims to have specialised in foreign affairs and defence? Isn’t there a minimum requirement for those seeking to be a head of state to have a head? With Obama’s inaugeration America shall begin its Post-Christian era. A man who wants install a civilian security force with full funding and full authority for its mission reminiscent Hitler’s Gestapo in Nazi Germany during the 1930s. A man who seeks to stifle opposing Conservative opinion with The Fairness Doctrine. A man who seeks to appoint Liberal judges to the many federal judgeships throughout the country. A man opposes the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. A man who shall appoint Liberal judges to two or more U.S. Supreme Court vacancies possible during his first term. A man with unstoppable majorities in both the House and Senate. Is this what America voted for?

different. hillary made obama , on the
real the GOP was more worry of hillary
than obama so in term. obama had to really out think
a pro thats bend there and done that.

Yes, this is the administration that the majority of Americans voted for. That’s how we do it here in my beloved US of A.
President Bush had, at one time, the support and approval rating in the high 70’s. That would have to include Democrats and Republicans. Many are dissatisfied now with their choice, and have voted in the Democratic candidate as President.
Maybe you could hold your nose and wait until after the Inauguration to form your opinion?
If a one-party government suits you better, there are places in this world that would be happy to accomodate.
Oh, how I’ve waited to be able to say “America, Love It or Leave it”!

I haven’t a clue why the media nitpicks everything Hillary does. They always pick the worst photo of her to print. The readers are getting damn tried of the back handed way that the media reports on her every move. Could it be that there jealous of her accomplishments?
Obama could not have picked a better person for Secretary of State.

At least it gets her away from healthcare reform or handing out squillions to all of her new NYC financial buddies!

Couldn’t you find a more unflattering picture of Sen. Clinton? And wouldn’t it be nice if you got off her back and treated her with the respect she has EARNED. If you want to play hardball, why don’t you shut up and listen for a change instead of running your mouth non-stop and spreading your particular self-rightous opinion over the media. It would be wonderful if you would stick to reporting the news and and refrain from editorializing.

Love him or hate him, Bill Clinton, has been paid upwards of a half million dollars for a one-hour speaking engagement to share his insights of world affairs, past, present and future. Hillary has access to that well of knowledge on a regular basis, that and her own impressive resume makes her a very, very valuable asset to this country. p.s. Ken Starr, sorry your witch hunt ended so badly. You, Monica & Bob “The Idiot” Barr should get together and console each other.

You don’t like the photo? I thought it reflected the rugged readiness this woman has for the job. She’s reading the Iraq Study Group book for goodness sake! Doesn’t that show she is ready? Plus, you should read more carefully. I only said positive things on Hillary in my article. If you read carefully you will see that everything else said about Hillary is quotes from others. Of course, I did cherry pick what quotes to put…but hey!

I don’t know why I’m wasting my time with this blog jazz. Now honestly, who reads these things anyway? What good does blogging do? Is it just another form of appeasement? Well all right, obviously since this serves no real purpose in the scheme of things, it must have a hidden purpose that gives the people an opportunity to vent some anger out.
I’ll try it for what it’s worth.
Now with that power mad Hillary who may soon have another ego trip venture as a very powerful Secretary of State. Have we forgotten the Clinton administration of lies already? Yes those lessons from the past that are easily forgotten. We all just stood there in our own little world, while a bunch of above prosecution degenerate’s up there on Capitol Hill inspired by the Clinton administration’s hatred of our men and women in uniform hatched a diabolical plan that came in the form of those numerous base closings. This treasonous act of the so-called commander-in-chief opened the floodgates wide for international terrorism worldwide to start planning their attacks. The administration at the time enjoyed an eight-year long vacation while those terrorist camps flourished overseas. Now back here to appease that godless atheistic society who worshiped movie stars and rock idols above everything in their little fragile lives, this apparent lack of concern allowed these years of political chaos to continue on unabated. The Secretary of State at the time, Albright one of the most corrupt Secretary of State’s of all time until Rice took over for little spoiled George boy, made deal after deal with those Islamic terrorists that arrived in the form of some international aid. Yes, she stabbed the American people right it up back using her diplomatic immunity to avoid any prosecution, and you people just sat back and let it happen. Hell yes, she walked away with millions and we lost thousands of our own citizens when that eight years of appeasement with these terrorist cells in those secret meetings finally paid off. With God as my only witness that’s the real reason why those terrorist attacks on 911 occurred. Now ask yourself this question and answer truthfully if you can. We were viciously attacked and nobody lost their high-paying politically motivated jobs, why? The 911 attacks were brought to us courtesy of eight years of corruption in the Clinton administration. Furthermore, I also include that evil woman too who played a real role in the 2001 attacks, Secretary of State Albright (an Islamic terrorists best friend) abused her power and we did nothing. My Lord you people allowed this to happen by not voicing your concerns where it really counts of the Senate floor in Washington. What is it? Do we just dig a few holes bury a few bodies and continue on as though nothing really happened? Babylon the great lost thousands of people on that day of days and most importantly of all, Wall Street was toppled when those two idols made of stone and glass pan-caked to the ground. Oh yes, let’s not forget George boy either, an evil monster who has brought us all in just eight years to the brink of destruction. Talk about an enemy from within, while destroy our God inspired democracy here for a false one there? Now once again the wrong man is in the White House sitting up his end of our day’s regime. Well go-ahead complain all you want and shout it from the rooftops for I doubt that anyone is now listening. However, in the end we will all pay the ultimate price for allowing evil to infiltrate every facet of our country. It’s just a matter of time how, before America falls and falls hard.

That’s not all I have to say I would need another 400 pages to really voice somewhat by political concerns.
