It got to the point that I withheld belief from any news story I saw about Gov. Palin because so many of these stories turned out to have little basis outside of the paranoid delusions of leftie bloggers and dinosaur media hacks. It has been many years since I've trusted the dinosaur media but what I saw in the recent election put that distrust into overdrive.

Of course you would view this that way. If you're getting information from Fox news it doesn't surprise me that you would think anything on real media is distorted.

This goes right along with the "study" that said McCain got more negative coverage during the election than did Obama. But reading further into that story (which I'm sure you want us to all do) it becomes clear that what was really counted was the number of times that any sentence occurred that had a negative in it, whether it was something that the candidate said or did themselves.

So, since McCain said and did many more negative things leading up to and during this election, of course there was more negative coverage of him. Basically the news media was just covering the facts but since McCain was a very negative candidate, he came across as such, which of course annoyed any and all Repugnicans.

I hadn't seen the interview but, rather, just seen the CNN written copy, before now, and, at the time of first reading, it didn't seem right, totally inconsistent with her other appearances elsewhere, etc. - you've totally nailed it. There was a day when Wolfie was considered a fairly reasonable journalist, especially by CNN standards (clearly no longer).
