George Bush is a decent man by any standard,
and has taken a militant approach toward terrorism. He also is the biggest grower of government since FDR. He refused to use the veto and took the country leftward.
His hard-nosed approach to everything only escalated certain opposition from the left.
He surrounded himself with enablers and distanced himself from those who would look him in the eye and disagree while still remaining loyal.
I respect him and appreciate the good things he did for this country, but he and his neo-cons are still responsible for a lot of the problems facing this country.
He and his dad have virtually destroyed the legacy the Gipper left this nation.
