Let The Barry Disappointment Begin

Asia Times Online

For the millions around the world who supported the candidacy of United States president-elect Barack Obama, let the disappointment begin. Rhetoric fades and symbolism pales in the harsh light of familiarity. But the biggest culprit in this emerging, imminent disillusionment is simple reality.

The world’s investment of hope in Obama will likely fare little better than shares or property investments in 2008. Items on the Obama agenda, often hidden in plain sight, are bound to disconcert many of his overseas fans. Much of the disappointment will be unavoidable.

Hmm, me thinks it won’t just be those overseas who are disappointed. When talking to Barry voters who are complaining, make sure you give them the smile you reserve for a buddy who got entirely too liquored up the night before when you say “told ya so!”

But, there is no disappointment in Abortion On Demand Land

Transition advisers to President-elect Barack Obama have compiled a list of about 200 Bush administration actions and executive orders that could be swiftly undone to reverse White House policies on climate change, stem cell research, reproductive rights and other issues, according to congressional Democrats, campaign aides and experts working with the transition team.

Reproductive rights, ie, aborting fetuses, ie, babies. The Holy Sacrament of the Democrat Party. And, as those of us who did not drink the kool aid know, no one has stood up for even the most outlandish abortion demands like Obama did. Not even Barbara Boxer and Chuckie Schumer are that extreme. Hell, I’m not sure if Margaret Sanger would be as extreme as Obama.

Obama himself has signaled, for example, that he intends to reverse Bush’s controversial limit on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research, a decision that scientists say has restrained research into some of the most promising avenues for defeating a wide array of diseases, such as Parkinson’s.

Let’s see: ESC’s have not cured anything without creating teratoma’s, otherwise known as “monster tumors.” Adult stem cells, and to some degre placental stem cells, have been providing treatments and cures for decades. ESC research is a boondogle that has shown no successes, other then as a prop for abortion on demand demands. Which is why researchers into ESC want federal money, because private reseach doesn’t want to dump good money after bad.

Anyhow, the over/under on Libs/progressives going stone cold barking moonbat Andrew Sullivan/Glenn Greenwald on Obama is May 20.

I want to know, if knowing the point at which a human being attains human rights is “above his pay grade” as a LAW MAKER…..

How is he qualified to be POTUS? As a law maker unable to say with “specificity” when human rights apply, he is equally unable to uphold and defend the Constitution, unable to ensure ANY rights for ANY human being.

I’m surprised at two facts… abortions of african-american babies is the highest proportion of abortions performed and that the african-american community has been duped by the democrats into supporting the genocide and infanticide of their children. How stupid are you if you vote for the people who are primarily supporting the destruction of your future?

First be certain that pregnant women are properly respected and cared for, then feed and nurture the babies and young ones who are into the world before you try to force women to bring children into the world. Being forced to bear is as bad as being forced to abort. If God is aware of every sparrow, do you not suppose he is aware of your meanness of spirit? I don’t expect to see this post because it is blatantly obvious that you include only those in your circle of hate–which, by the way, may entitle you to your own circle of hell. But I do not say that is what will happen or even that it ought to happen, for I am not your judge.
