Maybe I am jumping the gun, but, as of midnight, looks like it will be Obama. Oh, well. Such is life. It will give all these feel good folks, who only see the programs who paint Dems as cute fluffy bunnies and Republicans as mean nasty bulldogs, a good dose of what a hard left agenda will do to their lives. I predict that the Misery Index will return by August.
And, at least the won’t have the 60 votes they need in the Senate.
What is your prediction on how low the stock market goes Wednesday?

August? That’s pretty liberal, considering the headstart and progress they have already made.
God help us.
The race card has been played–no longer in the deck.
America has proved she is not a racist nation, her conscience is now cleared.
I hope the moonbats enjoy their celebration tonight, because when they still have to pay their mortgages and bills, there’ll be hell to pay.
There is nothing like disillusionment. At least those us who have had our eyes open the whole time will not have to suffer that!
August seems about right to me. Chances are good that Obama will get his head stuck in a bucket for a while, then there’s that international crisis that Joe Biden is planning.
The market is not going to plummet tomorrow. People are going to make a run until the end of November, THEN start backing out.
I got a dollar on it. Who’s in?
“August seems about right to me.”
I expect earlier – much earlier.
I already moved my money.
Let them gloat. They drank the kool-aid. I give them until July. My family is ready for whatever disaster the Dems cause. They surely will…
Words fail me . . . . . wish I could find a huge funeral ribbon and a sign that says “RIP America”. God help us all.
I agree with Sherry D.
God help us.
If you find that bumper sticker – I want one too! I’m so fed up w/many mega stars and the media I cant see straight. I’m fed up w/the Democrat dominated congress that’s been in effect for the last 4 yrs and they’ve succeeded at making a mess of the Bush Admin. They are Dem’s are truly to blame for the economic strife! They’ve voted against everything Bush and the Republicans have tried to put through. So much for a government who is looking to protect their country.
I think Obama will be rather low key early on, but, the Congress won’t. And the media will finally have to notice how bad it is, getting pulled kicking and screaming into discussing the Misery Index.
Crystal and Sherry, buck up. We will survive. It is a down time, but, we have to keep being positive and upbeat, rather then let ourselves get morose and nuts like those on the left did in 2000. We are better.
I will be flying my American Flag upside down for the next four years, it in a international distress signal we are in trouble, he is a one term president.
Hopefully America’s eyes will be opened and the Republicans can reclaim the Congress with the mid-term elections. I’m so depressed. Why didn’t the Republicans hit harder with the fact that the Democrats (Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd) who caused the economic crisis and not President Bush. God help us during our international crisis cause you know Obama won’t know what to do.
I’m glad the demo(n)crats won’t have anyone to blame but themselves (and we all know how that will go) for the coming failures in the next administration.
The Mafia and foreign countries were the ones that gave all the money to obamas campaign. The American People do not know what they have done. But they will find out soon enough. GOD HELP THIS COUNTRY!
When a group of people WANT to blindly believe and follow the lies (Why didn’t the Republicans hit harder with the fact that the Democrats (Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd) who caused the economic crisis and not President Bush) no amount of reasoning and logic will sway them from the error of their way.
For the past year and a half I have believed our country would become an”Obamanation” due to the predictable behavior of self-promoting, apathetic mankind, which currently out-numbers the reasonable, logical thinking population. God has helped this country through multitudes of dismal events due to the faithfullness of many. We conservatives in California, are very thankful for the YES on prop. 8 passage. At least personal sexual choice isn’t recognized as a civil right by approximately 52% of the voters. Let Newsom ponder this!
It’s like I told my parents, probama, staunch Catholic right-to-lifers (yes, I know that’s like trying to be GOP & Dem at the same time), the media is so in love with Obama, it’s akin to when you’re in the early stages of dating…everybody else sees your significant other for the not nice person that they are but you will not. The media is so in love with Obama & so very, very hateful of the GOP that there is no way anything anyone could have said that would have mattered. I’m getting a bumper sticker & then I’m doing as I did during the Clinton admin, writing Obama at least weekly, if not daily, along with creating a website to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions, their words, their votes…then we’ll see who’s sitting where in 4 years.
This election reminds me of Animal Farm. Except I’m not laughing, I’m stuck between shocked & horrified!
The love-struck dating scenario is an accurate depiction of the media’s ability to perversely inflict upon the American people their infatuation with the extreme left.
However, I still hold each individual responsible for his/her decision to blindly and selfishly follow an obvious lie. How else do we explain the “election” of a person who hasn’t been required to or been able to truly prove his American citizenship and hasn’t come close to remove or reducing doubts regarding his relationship with terrorists?
Eventually the people who voted in this false-prophet will figure out that this was a mistake.
Millions of us saw through the fan-fare, and the media glitz and glam and, of course, his EMPTY PROMISES.
Fools. They bought it… hook, line and sinker.
The naivety is staggering, and our enemy country’s are watching… and waiting.
I for one, and MILLIONS who stand behind me, weep for this lapse of judgment.
The fact is, “Change” from Obama’s point of view (what he spoke of from the pulpit) is not exactly the change you will see. Liberals think you do… Liberals think they’ve got it nailed… Liberals really think they’ve done a good thing for this country.
So sad… the foolishness.
We will see. Soon, they will see too.

I’m totally floored at the level of ignorance the majority of this country has become infected with. Electing Obama to the White House was as they say “historic”. Not because he’s Black, but because they put in power a man that has the same values we’ve fought against from WW2 to Iraq: Socialism.
His economic policy plans are text book Communist, but the American people were too blinded by the pomp and circumstance of his campaign to see. His values are shady at best.
I don’t plan on stooping to the level of bitterness the Democrats have in the past after losing an election, but I figured one day of mourning and venting about this debacle wouldn’t hurt. We’ll all see in a tragic change in this nation of ours over the next four years, and I pray the damage caused by him and his Democratically controlled Congress can be reversed and our nation saved from self destruction.
God help us all.
You are right, Semper Fi. When hordes of enemy countries were backing/supporting a presidential candidate of OUR United States, intelligent citizens saw that as the biggest red flag ever. It is my fervent prayer and hope that we will not witness even the smallest corner of a “white flag of surrender” in any arena designed to sell out America and what she should stand for.
lol. that’s a good idea! i love that!
i’m going to get one. haha.
American’s have really really gotten stupid in the last 30 years!
All republicans: Stay out of newly released movies for one year! Hollywood makes me sick – they got their wish. They got their idiot in office. Boycott Jay Leno!

Hope you didn’t get many takers.
What a very sad day for intelligent Americans. The Anti-Christ has surfaced in the worlds most powerful position. He was able to sway people to vote for him because of his oracle power! Adolf Hitler did the same thing in WWII! Hang on tight America cause it’s gonna be a bumpy ride. Get ready for another 9-11!!! If you are religious start praying. THis will go down as one of the darkest periods of American history.
1. Within the last two weeks, Iran called for using nuclear weapons – which it avidly is trying to develop – on Israel.
2. Russia is making overtures to Hugo Chavez’ totalitarian Venezuela. That’s Hugo Chavez, who is not exactly one of the USA’s friends and who sounds more like Fidel in 1960.
3. Russia has just announced that it is siting missiles just east of Poland. Why? It surely isn’t for defense, no matter what Medvedev says.
The President-Elect will not take office for another 76 days. Is he going to respond like Teddy Roosevelt – or Neville Chamberlain?
I’m probably as disappointed as everyone else, but please remember this. We have an opportunity here. We have a chance to teach Democrats how to lose an election. Rather than look in the pages of the liberal playbook, let’s do something different. Let’s act our age. Instead of apologizing for the majority of Americans that voted for Obama, let’s accept the fact that he is the president-elect. Let’s support him. This doesn’t mean agreeing with him, but rather praying for him and hoping he will be the best president he can be. Let’s give him a fair shot…unlike our liberal friends were willing to give Bush. Let’s try and extend a hand, willing to work together for the good of America. Then, the undecideds will note that, while Democrats care only about power, Republicans are interested in country first.

Are you trying to claim that you’re one of the intelligent americans? Because you lost me at anti christ… Any intelligent american has been teeming with frustration every day for the last eight years at the injustices of the current REPUBLICAN administration. Maybe you should think about why maybe more than half the country voted for Obama… Hmm… Bush is a republican, and his approval rating is at 25% and, due to the changes he’s now scrambling to make, dropping. You people aren’t real conservatives, any real conservative would be for shutting down guantanamo, stopping our ever rising debt, getting our military out of 130 countries (seriously…) and back home where they belong, and seeking a sound currency… I know Barack Obama is the farthest thing from a conservative, but he’s definitely a better choice for president than John McCain…
But when it comes down to media bias, Ron Paul was the one who was treated most unfairly. He raised so much money in so little time and the media practically ignored him; They decided instead to pay attention to all the other do nothing candidates instead of somebody who would ACTUALLY FOLLOW OUR CONSTITUTION and bring REAL CHANGE! America is certainly in trouble alright, but not because of Barack Obama!
“There is no room for truth in the empire of lies”
The stocks on Wednesday dropped, and they dropped bad! I just got an electronic letter from my investment capital management agency, that they will be liquidating over $12 billion out of stocks before JAN 15, 2009 due to expected increase in capital gain taxes under Obama. That is very unfortunate. I have close to $190,000 invested. They said that this is in line with what other investment portfolio managers will do during this time. That day, will probably be the worst day in American history. I think we will see so much liquidation from the market on that day, that it will bring us to tears! I wish it wasn’t so!! But don’t blame me, I voted McCain
This reminds me of a popular scene from Star Wars 3 Revenge of the Sith. As the Democrats take over the House and Senate, I just see the Republicans taking the back seat and getting kicked out. I hear in my head, “Once more, the Sith will rule the Galaxy…and there shall be peace.” (So much for the last part, yea right) The Jedi will return in 2012. Sorry, I know I’m a geek.
I prayed a Rosary Novena, along with many other Catholics, for Mary’s intercession in the election, and for the right to life. While it didn’t turn out like I had hoped with a McCain-Palin victory, I know that she heard our prayers. No matter how dismal things seem, there is always hope. I’m not talking about fake secular Obama campaign slogan hope, but the hope that our Blessed Mother through her Son are the real victory, and that our Father will never abandon us. Anyways, my point is that no matter the political forces or other forces that surround us, our real hope is in Christ. This will never disappoint. Having said that, say what you want about Bush, but no major attacks happened in our country after 9/11. President Obama doesn’t make me feel safe. This election is no civil rights victory for the millions of African-American children who will die from abortion and possibly infanticide under pro-abortion Obama. It sickens me to think about all the poor children who will most likely have to die in the womb under this President, let alone the millions more who may have to suffer if he appoints pro-abortion judges. How long will this go on? We all have to stand up for what is right before our country succumbs to legalized homicide.
Any cheap property in Canada? I only want to go for a 4 year trip.
You know, I’d swear I have heard all this before. Democrats taking over will result in a complete breakdown of the economy. War. Poverty. Widespread discontent. Cats and dogs living together!
You know when it was? Sixteen years ago. When Clinton took over. And ushered in the most prosperous period the US has seen in my lifetime.
Fortunately then Bush came along and was able to achieve all of those terrible things (even the cat and dog in the White House). Just like his father had before Clinton. Funny how that works out. And how you folks never seem to figure it out. All the horrible things you say will happen under the Democrats invariably DON’T… but then DO happen under the Republicans you support… yet you keep right on living in backwards world.
BUCKLE UP MY PEEPS. HERE COMES THE JIMMY CARTER YEARS!!!!
ohhh god!! Let s all go to Canada!!!! Or for the ones who are staying, let s just not work. Obama will tax the dumb ones who work to support our [edited]. Let s all quit our jobs and apply for welfare.
Thanks Obama

I think that America needs to refocus their priorities. It is sad that America has went way off of what the United States was founded on. The morals that are country was founded on is now out the window. All I can say is, “God be with us.” We are gonna need him in our days ahead. And for every baby that doesn’t have a chance to live, the blood is not on my hands. I voted for McCain.
Don’t think these people who were OBAM-BOOZLED won’t blame us anymore. Everything that Obama screws up he will blame on the Bush Administration. Yes, we had good cause to blame Clinton – after all he did have Osama in his sights in 1999 and didn’t pull the trigger due to international law concern. Thus thousands of Americans are dead. Unfortunately some may be reading this that will also fall victim to another pacified liberal!
CBDunkerson – you really aren’t that bright, are you? It may have been prosperous for you – but Clintons taxation took 38% of my pay check, and I was a police officer. Prosperous? Where do you get that from? He absorbed the Reganomics, that’s where the positives came into play. It is a time where during an eight year period the previous administrations economics are felt – thus we are now in a Clinton-omics downfall. That’s Economies 101 – Get Obama to pay for your higher-education. Oh wait me and others will be paying for that for you!
One of Obama’s first acts as president will be to overturn President Bush’s ban of stem cell research. I am disgusted at this, as are any Americans with a glimmer of conscience left. Seriously, I am sickened to think of my country experimenting on human life in the name of “health” or “progress”. This sounds oddly historically familiar. Hmm, where has this idea come up before in history? Thank God my mom decided that I was convenient and wanted enough to have the right to exist, even when I could have been silently exterminated, even up to my birthday. Oops, the pc term is “pro-choice”. If anyone is not outraged by the fact that our country gives them no right to exist unless their mom wanted them, I would encourage them to get angry, because we all have the right to be angry about the government denying our right to be alive. God help our country.
“You know when it was? Sixteen years ago. When Clinton took over. And ushered in the most prosperous period the US has seen in my lifetime.”
So, you are too young to have been around in the Reagan years? Oh, I get it- if a Republican is in office, it is called GREED. If it’s a Dem, it’s called PROSPERITY. So that’s how liberal spin works…
“any real conservative would be for shutting down guantanamo”
The I guess I’m not a ‘conservative.” I am definately NOT all for bringing terrorist suspects onto American soil and granting them the legal rights that we Americans enjoy. You remember Americans, right- those people who don’t hate us and want to kill us? After all, when they catch us, do they treat us the same?
No, I guess I’m not a conservative. I think we should only be bound by the Geneva Convention if the other side is doing the same. If not… bring on the Napalm baby!
Dear God,
Please spare my country from Hilary Clinton as Secretary of State. I love my country, and don’t want to have to move to another one until this administration is over.
Considering that Sarah Palin was the reason that McCain lost by 6% intead of 15% I’d like to see a bumper sticker that says “Don’t blame me, I voted for the hot governor”.
