What Happened To An Osama Tape?
Posted on November 4, 2008
The New Republic asks the question, “why no Bin Laden tape,” and comes to the conclusion that Osama would prefer McCain, but,
…in the final week or so before today’s election, Obama appeared to have a pretty insurmountable lead. Even if a bin Laden tape would have narrowed the margin, it probably wouldn’t have made a winner of McCain. In which case it would have exposed bin Laden to be kind of impotent.
Or, it could have something to do with the fact that Osama would rather not have to engage in a stand up fight, and prefers the US to practice Paper Tiger diplomacy, which is what you get with Obama. Osama will probably release a congratulatory tape if Barry wins.
BTW, I hate to agree with Andrew Sullivan, pains me like an icepick to the temple, but, really, couldn’t this kind of garbage wait till he at least takes office?

Obviously, bin Laden learned his lesson from 2004 about releasing tapes before the election. So polling on the threat of terrorism ranked 9% behind Iraq (10%) and the Ecomony (62%).
If they shut up, they get what they want.
I disagree. The sooner, the better.
As long as Obama refuses to make available his birth certificate and transcripts, he will ever be suspect in my mind.
The would be a anti-McCain site up even faster, turnaround is fair play and as always the right will show retrains not unlike the anti-bush sites
Long live John McCain.
