CNN On Obama’s Coal Statement? Eh. Months Old

Posted on November 3, 2008

This headline from CNN certainly has to be a contender for the funniest of the week: Palin knocks Obama over months-old coal comments. Coming from an arm of the liberal media who has delved into Bush’s TANG service and drunk driving incidents, decades old, as well as McCain’s cancer from years ago, whether he co-operated with the North Vietnamese (decades ago), wondered if he had an affair years ago, followed up with the unverified smear that he called his wife a c…, well, you know, a long time ago, etc and so on, this has to be one of the dumbest headlines in a while

Campaigning in coal country just two days before the presidential election, Sarah Palin is highlighting an interview Barack Obama gave to the San Francisco Chronicle in January in which the Democrat suggested coal plants would be bankrupted by his cap-and-trade proposal.

Audio of Obama’s comments began bubbling up on major conservative blogs over the last 24 hours, and Palin wondered why voters were only now hearing about the remarks. The insinuation that the Chronicle had been hiding the coal comments from the public brought about shouts of “Liberal media!” from the crowd.

See? It was way back in January 2008! It’s like it was a different decade!

You know, if one of Obama’s psychosupporters shot Palin, CNN would’ve reported it as “Palin provokes man to defend himself”…

NO MORE EEYORES!!!!!! Seriously, you must get out and vote. It is biased. It is a nightmare…but the people still have a choice. we can make this overwhelming. Do not give in to any force…you get your family and friends to the polls, legally, and speak your mind!!!!! Tell them with your vote that you will not go quietly into communism. This is the agenda. These are our times. But do NOT be afraid or discouraged. VOTE! :o )

Gotta remember, Julia, Democrats are feelers, not thinkers, and, will also blame republicans for their own votes that cause them to lose their own jobs ;)

I never thought America would turn do away with our freedom so easily. The United Mine
Workers are putting their membership out of
work with no thought at all. I voted my
Christian values, but I think there are
plenty of other reasons to not vote for
Obama. We will just have to reap what we sow
    in this election.

Its Not JUST About The Coal Industry. Obama’s Plan, Which Even He Admits Will Cause Skyrocketing electric prices, will kill the American Steel Industry, the American Aluminum Industry, the American Paper Industry, the American Glass Industry and a host of support industries related to these. In addition, it will further decimate the American auto industry.

The decline in these industries will force many communities completely out of business. It will affect restaurants, real estate, insurance agents, hardware stores, tire stores, pet shops, auto parts stores, fashion shops, hospitals, schools, tax receipts, and more importantly people’s lives who live in those communities.

It will affect the coal miners, steel workers, iron workers, electrical workers, construction workers, brick layers, painters, carpenters. In other words, it will affect almost everyone.

It will raise residential heating and cooling costs at the precise time when our economy can tolerate it the least. This could be the straw that breaks the back of the American Economy and forces it down to the depths of a deep depression.

This is not JUST about bankrupting the coal industry. It is about bankrupting the nation as a whole.

GeraldD and co. get your facts right and listen to the conversation before you bash Obama. This GOP/Rep media has cut off Obama’s speech and twisted it to their own liking.
It’s just GOP/Rep political crap to scare the would-be voters for Obama.
