Obama’s Aunt, Who Lives in a Shoe, Is Illegal Immigrant

Barack Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.
Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as “Aunti Zeituni” in Obama’s memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango’s case.Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcment official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government, but the AP could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved in its release.
Onyango’s refusal to leave the country would represent an administrative, non-criminal violation of U.S. immigration law, meaning such cases are handled outside the criminal court system. Estimates vary, but many experts believe there are more than 10 million such immigrants in the United States.
The AP could not reach Onyango immediately for comment. No one answered the telephone number listed in her name late Friday. It was unclear why her request for asylum was rejected in 2004.
Onyango is not a relative whom Obama has discussed in campaign appearances and, unlike Obama’s father and grandmother, is not someone who has been part of the public discussion about his personal life.
A spokeswoman for U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, Kelly Nantel, said the government does not comment on an individual’s citizenship status or immigration case.
By the way, did the article mention she gets government benefits and donated to Obama? Like we said, its Obama’s campaign in a nice nutshell.

That’s about as transparent a red flag as an outfit like the AP is usually willing to give. And there you have it. Quite likely working in concert with the McCain campaign, a Bush administration official is leaking details on an immigration case to try to help McCain three days before the election. It’s shades of Bush I’s riffling through Bill Clinton’s passport files just before the 1992 election in a desperate last minute gambit as they were swirling down the drain.
It would probably be monumentally idiotic to ask if Josh has anything other then a feeling, you know, proof, eh?
TPM Muckraker is seeing all sorts of conspiracies, and seems to find the timing suspect. I guess an “11th hour smear” is only OK when it involves Bush’s drunk driving or made up TANG documents.
Oh, and the Messiah, whose staffers are constantly checking the veracity of those who donate (snicker), is going to give give her donation back.

I agree that this woman ought not to be doing this — but digging it up right now smacks of the Joe the Plumber attacks. The woman was quietly minding her own business.
Granted, she was quietly minding her own business in the hopes that nobody would notice she was here illegally, drawing money illegally, but digging for dirt on the woman because her nephew is running for POTUS seems underhanded to me.

Obama has spent his lifetime consorting with people who hate America. He belongs to their organizations and has contributed to their causes.

You’ll never convince me that Obama didn’t know all along about his aunt living illegally in the United States.
An immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago. She is living in public housing and “was quietly minding her own business in the hopes that nobody would notice she was here illegally” and collecting a paycheck without a Social Security card? Was she being paid “under the table?” Did she pay taxes or file a tax return?
It’s hard to believe that Obama claims to have no knowledge of this aunt and her comings and goings, especially since he professes to be such a good family man.
Too many questions, no legitimate answers. Liar, liar, feet on fire.
Want real change? VOTE REPUBLICAN.
After reading a post above about Hussein Obama and some of the people he is friends with, I went on the internet to look them up for authenticity and to satisfy my own mind that what I was reading was true.
Folks, every one of those people mentioned are real and belong to the organizations mentioned and Obama has had relationships with communist, marxist, socialist groups and contributed money to their causes.
It’s pretty scary to me. I hope people have done their homework and know their candidates when they vote on November 4th. Think long and hard about how you want America to go – socialism NO – Obama NO
