Mr. Huntly hit's the nail with the hammer on this one. I read a poll that 99% of blacks in America are expected to vote for Obama. Being a Christian and telling the truth, no matter what your race is never going to be popular in this world until Christ's return.

Mr. Brown,
Thank you for sharing what most people are afraid of saying.
Quite honestly, neither Obama or McCain, in my opinion are the best choices for either party. This year's election will truely be based on choosing the lesser of two evils for me. I am Christian and I vote first by what the scriptures teach me is right in the eyes of God. I am a fiscal conservative second. Being a Christian in this country and in the world is not popular and it is getting worse everyday. When people make comments such as; "we shouldn't allow our personal views dictate how we vote." Then, I would like to ask them, What view, if it isn't personal, do they have that they use to vote with? It's personal no matter what side of the fence you're on.
I can not vote for a man who has tried to cover up his personal judgements concerning his family, business, and religious background. I do not believe in abortion. I do not believe or accept homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle. I do not believe in socialism or nationalization of private property, Obama does. I do not believe in taking personal property, money or everything else and giving to people who have not earned it. This country was not founded on that particular rule of government and never should be. The reasons I am not voting for Obama is very long but I can assure you of one thing, it is not about his race.

As a life-long Christian catholic, my very own personal opinion is that if Jesus was still around he'd punch McCain in the face.
Aside from practical issues like the economy and the like, which I choose not to consider in the scope of this one comment, it escapes me how voting for all that he and his party are representing today could be seen as "voting Christian".
They are all as far away as one can get from whatever good I was taught while growing up.
Many self-calling Christians in America need to go re-read what Jesus' stance is on tolerance and acceptance.

If you prefer voting for them (McC-P) it's up to you, but don't bring God into it to support your very own personal views. Shame, shame, shame to whoever talks this kind of sh*t.

A great story. But I as a christain, am very
much against Obama.
First, let me say that the word "Messiah" is given to one man and that man is Jesus Christ.
How dare Obama eadgerly claim such name. If he were a true Christain he would of asked people not to ever call him Messiah, for only Jesus is the one and only true Messiah. Once again,Obama relishes on some one calling him the Messiah- yes, what Jesus has warned us of the false christ, the anti-christ. Obama could be one of the many false christ.
This is why I as a christain, a lifelong
democrat will be voting for McCain/Palin.
Sorry if you're displeased, but I put Jesus
and the word of God first before any party.

Very well said! I am amazed that the black community can be so supportive of a pro-legalized abortionist like Obama.

It is clear to me that <a href="http://4simpsons.wordpress.com/2008/10/25/pro-obama-anti-black/" rel="nofollow">pro-Obama = anti-black</a>.
