“Judging from the media coverage”…
I was at a rally today in Kissimmee, Florida, at which Governor Sarah Palin (introduced by Elisabeth Hasselbeck) spoke and charged up the crowd. I noticed at Hotair that they were looking for footage of Palin talking about the Obama campaign treating the election as a formality at her Tampa appearance, so here is some of the video I shot in Kissimmee.
I apologize for the shakiness of the video. I was distracted. You know that guy who has a toddler who screams through the National Anthem and the invocation, and you can only get to calm down by letting him down to walk and then he rushes some deputies and tries to charge past secret service agents? Yeah, I am that guy.
The best parts of this footage, however amateur it admittedly is, are the UF students wearing “don’t tax me, bro” t-shirts, calling to mind the Gainseville taser incident; and the crowd’s reaction to Palin saying, “Judging from the media coverage (here she is interrupted by people booing the media types and looking back from the podium toward the cameras and reporters) it seems the coronation is already set”; and lastly the enthusiastic folks with the “Hello, my name is Joe the Plumber” shirts.
So here you go. As is my custom, you can bypass the dreadful quality of YouTube videos and download the file here if you want to.
