Democrats Join With Al-Qaeda Trying to Scare Voters Into Voting For Obama

Because my favorite left leaning commenter dared to email me this news, and challenged my intellectual honesty. I’m lazy, so I’m swiping this from a co-blogger’s site with permission. I may add my own notes later.

We have often seen, written and posted about Democrats joining in with terrorists and al-Qaeda, siding with them, using their same arguments as if reading the same script and today we see it again.

The Washington Post writes a piece about al-Qaeda trying to scare American voters into voting for Barack Obama, by saying they want John McCain to win and connecting him to the financial crisis, even though McCain was the one who proposed regulations for companies like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and Democrats opposed those restrictions, and what do the liberals in the blogosphere do?

They jump on the al-Qaeda bandwagon, joining them in their quest to get Obama elected.

“Al-Qaeda will have to support McCain in the coming election,” said a commentary posted Monday on the extremist Web site al-Hesbah, which is closely linked to the terrorist group. It said the Arizona Republican would continue the “failing march of his predecessor,” President Bush.

Quite amusing, one has to wonder is it al-Qaeda mimicking Democrats or Democrats mimicking al-Qaeda?

My heavens they are so predictable, both Liberals and al-Qaeda.

All the liberal blogs are pointing to this story about some Jihadi Moron on al-Hesbah speculating that al-Qaeda will attack to help John McCain get elected. They must have forgotten Rusty’s rule, Online terrorists are for the most part morons.

But so far as al-Qaeda’s strategy so far as I see it, and I’ve studied it a lot, an attack now is the last thing al-Qaeda would do. Why do it when what you want is being handed to you already? Why risk helping McCain fight you when you are sitting pretty? The American voter is just about to hand them a victory. They’ve always said America was a paper tiger. That we don’t have the political will to keep up the fight.

No, al-Qaeda will wait and then trumpet Obama’s election as a great vindication of their strategy. They will probably even congratulate the American people for “coming to their senses”.
