(Audio) Joe Biden: Obama’s Inexperience Will Prompt Nations to Test Us

I’m late to this gaffetastic slip of truth from Biden so I’ll just round up reactions.

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.
“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”
Isn’t this an argument for electing someone with more experience? Why should we elect a man who will embolden our enemies and push us to the brink of disaster? Biden seems convinced that electing John McCain will make our enemies abroad much less sanguine about provoking us — which is one of the best arguments yet heard for electing McCain.
Even worse, Biden admits that an Obama administration will likely fumble the ball. “It’s not going to be apparent that we’re right.” Really? Why not? I’d say that Biden admits that Obama will deviate from long-held principles of American foreign policy and diplomacy, and expects to reap a whirlwind of disapproval because of that. Where will that be most likely to occur, given Obama’s previous political alliances with people like Rashid Khalidi?
Well d’uh. Quite a few of us have been pointing that out for ages, that electing an utterly inexperienced empty suit to the office of Commander-in-Chief of the world’s strongest nation will inevitably lead to our enemies throwing the book at us, expecting (and most likely receiving) the most pathetic, ineffective, self-destructive response imaginable.
It’s no coincidence that every single megalomaniacal, tyrannical tinpot dictator and terrorist in the world have expressed a strong preference for seeing the Obameinführer in the White House.
We just hadn’t imagined that his Vice Presidential candidate would be making the point for us. Actually, we had. This is Joe “Gaffe-O-Matic” Biden we’re talking about, after all.

Call me simple, but the phrase “international crisis” does not inspire me to vote for your candidate.
Honestly this is one of the biggest reasons I will go nowhere near Hopey McChangerson, regardless of how much I am bothered by Big Head Clownshoes. Ho-bama is 143 days in the Senate and a lotta talk, and if you think the rest of the world doesn’t know that then you’re stupid. Cell-deep, procreation rights-revoked stupid.
What Biden realizes is that no pro-Obama supporter is listening to what Barry is saying anyhow. They’re just lined up brain-dead to vote for The One. This statement just proves it. Anyone with a just an itsy-bitsy amount of common sense would not vote for the guy…The One…who’s “gonna need help.”

Well, golly, if Obama is so untested that we will have a series of international crises — at the very time we are in a financial meltdown — which will make the Cuban Missile Crisis look like a walk in the park, shouldn’t we vote for the other guy who will keep all the miscreants in their place? Now, maybe we should rest easy because, according to Biden, “I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you.

it’s in Spanish, but I hope that many can understand. Chavez aims to have at least 3 “satellites” in Central America (Honduras, Nicaragua and soon Panama), not to mention the others in South America, where they will all be speaking in russian…
why is biden so sure that there will be a crisis ? Does he know something we don’t ?
Could this crisis be a financial one instead of what immediately comes to mind as in a terrorist attack ?

Isn’t this beautiful? On the heels of attempting to claim some vicarious gonads for the ticket by having Powell endorse Obama, because even a blind man would see that the guy has charm but no balls and that might make people hesitate voting for him in November,Joe comes out and basically says it. Chavez, Putin, and Ahmadinhad are drooling for this guy to get in office. He’ll be passed around like a brand new pretty boy in prison. Obama makes Jimmy Carter look like Mr. Smith in Washington. When Obama’s done “presenting” all our collective [edited] to the world we’ll be broke and in more danger than ever before. Israel will be all but a memory, democratic growth will reverse itself… But they’ll like us (so long as we pay for them to like us) and that’s what’s important
So the Dems win, the economy tanks and we catch a nuke from god knows which terrorist group. It’s now open season on Dems and we finally clean the house. Mark Joes words, it’s coming for sure!!
Joe Biden says the election of Obama may lead to a new conflict, terrorist attack, or a third war. A careful analysis of history says he may be correct.

I’m with John S at this point. My preference would be peace, prosperity, and the country making a smart decision but truthfully this conflict between conservatism and socialism has been a long time coming, like cold war times. A Dem president and a dem congress…..let the good times roll. It will be disgustingly entertaining to see the hysterics of the dems on “how did this happen!” Hmmm, gee, how to explain. With any luck they’ll totally self destruct and cease to exist as a party. We could only be so lucky.
