The Good News and the Bad News

The bad news:

1.) The Wall Street Journal puts out the warning on the liberal revolution:

If the current polls hold, Barack Obama will win the White House on November 4 and Democrats will consolidate their Congressional majorities, probably with a filibuster-proof Senate or very close to it. Without the ability to filibuster, the Senate would become like the House, able to pass whatever the majority wants.
Though we doubt most Americans realize it, this would be one of the most profound political and ideological shifts in U.S. history. Liberals would dominate the entire government in a way they haven’t since 1965, or 1933. In other words, the election would mark the restoration of the activist government that fell out of public favor in the 1970s. If the U.S. really is entering a period of unchecked left-wing ascendancy, Americans at least ought to understand what they will be getting, especially with the media cheering it all on.

Scary stuff.

2.) Colin Powell likely to endorse Barack Obama:

I guess we can throw the above in with the predictable endorsement of the Chicago Tribune.

3.) Supreme Court Rejects Ohio GOP Bid to look into voter fraud.

4.) Obama supporter bashes female McCain supporter in New York…media too busy focusing on false “kill him” shouts from McCain audience.

5.) A 12 year old Palin supporter gets harassed as racist for pro-Palin T-shirt.

Good News: McCain continues to drive the tax issue with Joe the plumber and attacks media for attacks on Joe:

2.) This Race might be winnable:

Rasmussen’s Presidential Tracking poll now shows Barack Obama leading John McCain by four points, 50 percent to 46 percent. At one point, Obama was up by 8.
Gallup’s national tracking poll of likely voters has Obama leading McCain by two points, 49 percent to 47 percent.
AP/Yahoo shows Obama leading McCain by two points, 44%-42%
The Reuters/C-Span/Zogby national tracking survey shows Obama leading McCain by five points, 49%-44%.
The GW/Battleground tracking poll has Obama leading McCain by four points, 49%-45%.
The other thing is, in most of these, if there’s been movement, Obama’s been pretty consistent – right around, or just under, 50 percent. McCain’s gains have come from undecideds.

Plus an AP poll shows things within two points.

Sorry more bad news than good news, but…don’t worry.

Why would anyone be opposed to the ACLU ? That is like being opposed to the Constitution of the USA ! What is wrong with defending the US Constitution ?

The ACLU tried in vain to protect the core of the Bill of Rights, habeus corpus, which used to deny the government the right to detain and hold you and your dear ones without due cause. The only candidate who has decried the shredding of the Constitution that has occurred over the past eight years is Barack Obama. Love freedom? Vote Obama.

just stumbled on this website from yahoo news, in my oppinion obama is the end of this country as we know it, the antichrist so to speak, i am scared, for the future of americans and this country most of us hold dear. it is refreshing to read about like minded people who think the ACLU should be abolished is cheering me up, it would be nice if this could be accomplished in my life time, they are so far left they don’t know where right is anymore…KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK…….
    VOTE MCCAIN IN 08

The ACLU is a partisan organization that is very selective of its defense of the US Constitution. Yes on occassion they throw a bone to Conservatives as they did with the Rush Limbaugh case . I asked them to intervene in NJ on a case and they refused. They State of New Jersey actually has a Department of Kosher Enforcement. Thats right folks. Government officials monitoring some ancient Jewish religious code. ACLU refused to take the case. Wonder why??

The aclu’s agenda is to disrupt the moral fiber of this country and they have, for the most part, succeeded. Stopping it now may be impossible and I like to think I’m a positive thinking person. There is a passage from the Bible that truely applies here. In the end the truth shall become lies and lies shall become truth.
