Yes, thank you Billy, USMC/Army, for your service! But Billy, why don’t you cut Colin some slack? I believe he took the time to make a very calm and rational decision regarding the presidential election. I do believe he endorsed Obama because he truly believes it would be best for our country. I don’t believe for a minute he did it just because he is black! McCain is alright, but he was very privileged his whole life and Obama had to work much harder to accomplish what he has. Also, McCain is no longer the maverick he used to be, and that is an important point to make, too. We are all in this together, so maybe we can find a way to put the demonizing behind us and work together for a brighter future for all of our kids…

As a former Marine and Army Counter Terrorist, I don’t see black or white. I was taught that we are all either light green or dark green. What I do see is that our young, brave, dedicated young men and women have committed themselves to the military and by doing so, have by the rank of E-3 or E-4 gained more experience and training than Sen. Obama. Call me old fashioned but I believe to be a Commander in Chief, One should at least have some idea of what they are a commander over. We have lost too many lives to tuck tail and walk away. Sen. McCain know about sacrifice. And with all due respect, shame on you General Powell. I thought you were the soldier’s General?

Obama had only 143 days of experience in the Senate. That’s how many days the Senate was ACTUALLY in session and working. Well, you couldn’t get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience. You couldn’t join the military and become a colonel after 143 days of experience. You couldn’t become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon. And Obama thinks he is ready to be Commander-In-Chief, Leader of the Free World with his 143 days in the Senate?
