Say: "Thank you, public school system!" for such a wonderful job educating our citizenry. Otherwise, you're absolutely correct. They can't control what we know and it makes them angry. In retaliation, they hid behind the garbage piles created by Congress allowing them to "pick and choose" the Presidential candidates, refusing to acknowledge third-party candidates, and stonewalling to protect their preferred one. I can't even read a news report anymore that is objective and could be considered "news" in the outside-looking-in journalistic style I was taught; littered with subjective statements of "fact" and opinions, these pieces are editorials - passed off as news. I remember a time when opinions had their own column or section of the paper, not the entire publication. One of the undesired victims of change tossed under the bus... I picture them dressed in zoot suits, wearing fedoras with their press pass in the hat band. When I read them, they sound like a guy saying, "Jeepers! That's swell, Senator!
