Can McCain Make a Come Back?
Yes he can! He actually has a reputation of coming from behind. It will most definitely be the ultimate anti-climax for Obama fans with his slick rock star image if McCain can pull it off. It will also surprise quite a few of my more pessimistic friends.
First of all, McCain is not as far behind in the polls as the media want you to believe, and the Obama camp knows it. Their internal polls show a much tighter race, and they are worried about the Palin factor. McCain gained in today’s Rasmussen and Gallup and is within the margin of error. These polls didn’t include data from voters after the debate, and that is something in McCain’s favor. Obama is 49 and McCain 47 among likely voters in the Gallup poll.
Second thing: McCain won last night’s debate. I don’t care who the media tell you won, or what focus groups said, McCain won. Everyone is talking about Joe the plumber today, and the always classy left are going bonkers trying to discredit him and ruin his life. Obama’s socialist tax plan has been exposed into the spotlight by a man that has come to symbolize the middle class. Did I mention that is all everyone is talking about? This means that McCain dominated the debate. Surprise Obama! It was the issues that made you lose that debate, not your questionable character. We will soon begin to see an uptick in enthusiasm or McCain in the next few days. He brought the issue of taxes to the forefront, and Obama on the defense.
Third thing…and this goes with the Palin factor…is how voter turn-out will be. Will the young folks Obama is counting on be able to peel themselves off the couch, away from their bongs, and actually make it to the voting booths? There are all kinds of factors. As the Anchoress points out…the Democrats routinely overplay their hand.
None of the above include outside influences. If recordings of Michelle Obama’s rant to the African Press come out it could do some real damage too. And of course we can’t rule out the possibility of a Bin Laden, or Al Qaeda surprise.

100% agree. This election is not even going to be close. And the derangement from the Sanger/Kevorkian/Terrorist Left is going to be a hilarious wonder to behold come November 5th.
Not to be a link whore, but I wrote about this very subject last night over at Sanity. Click my name to take a look.
I don’t believe for a minute that McCain won the debate. He did better than before but he did not win. He had Obama on the ropes and let him go a number of times. Here is the knockout punch that should have happened after Obama lied about Ayers with the 8 yr old BS.
” Senator Obama I was 8 years old when Adolph Hitler was killing 6 Million Jews. I did not launch my political career from the home of a former Nazi”.
End of Game and the Jewish Vote.
