In other words, the prediction is that St Andrews will be lost to increased erosion from higher tides.  It&#039;s something that would happen eventually anyway, but any rise in sea level will greatly speed it up.

And the bit about a ten day forecast is a non-argument.  You&#039;re trying to compare an attempt to predict exactly what will happen on a given day with the ability to extrapolate trends based upon an ever growing body of evidence.
