Spread the wealth!
Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth into a small section of society who control capital, and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.

Why doesn’t he just call this what it is? Redistribution of wealth…or in other words… theft and looting. Taking money from people who pay taxes and give it to the ones that don’t.
For the Obama Democrats, a tax cut is no longer letting you keep more of what you earn. In their lexicon, a tax cut includes tens of billions of dollars in government handouts that are disguised by the phrase “tax credit.” …
The Tax Foundation estimates that under the Obama plan 63 million Americans, or 44% of all tax filers, would have no income tax liability and most of those would get a check from the IRS each year. The Heritage Foundation’s Center for Data Analysis estimates that by 2011, under the Obama plan, an additional 10 million filers would pay zero taxes while cashing checks from the IRS.The total annual expenditures on refundable “tax credits” would rise over the next 10 years by $647 billion to $1.054 trillion, according to the Tax Policy Center. This means that the tax-credit welfare state would soon cost four times actual cash welfare.
I wonder how many Americans know that Obama’s tax plan is to put the Federal government back in control of welfare and practically create a welfare nanny-state nation?

If you Yanks vote for this bozo you will get what you deserve. What the hell does he mean by “the people behind” the plumber? His family? The lazy sods down the road? Presumably the plumber works in [edited] to get his own family ahead. If America wants to be France then the free world is doomed.

Your definition of socialism is incorrect as it does not cover fascism and a horde of others that are anything but classless societies.
I also have to laugh at what you call the redistribution of wealth since supply and demand does not work that way. The rich who I assume are the people making more money off of society are charged more for the services they receive from that society and then they turn around and provide the services for that same society making back that money they were charged plus any generated by the society. In other words about the only thing that changes is the flow of money increases making it appear like there is more wealth in society. It probably does not really significantly change any ones piece of the pie as redistribution of wealth would actually do. Minimum wage is more likely to do that but even that is doubtful if you do not fix the maximum income of those in higher brackets.

You can call it what you like, but Obama’s tax plan is a welfare program payed for by taxpayers for non-taxpayers. They steal my money and give it to drug dealers claiming unemployment as a “refund”? C’mon!

Was Obama president last week? Who will be paying for the greed of Wall Street/real estate speculators and the total destruction of the Dollar by the DOD and the Federal Reserve?
Obama and the rest of the politicians will make sure it’s us…while they’re lining their pockets with money from companies like Fannie Mae….and incidentally, I think it’s a real hoot that former Fannie MAE CEOs Frank Raines and Jim Johnson are “advisors” to Obama…
It’s also really weird that Obama was in the top 4 recipients of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Campaign contributions – and he’s probably the most junior senator on the list.
