"This is fact and can easily be checked online"

It's not a fact, it's an accusation. Unsubstantiated at that. So far all I've read is innuendo and assumption. Can you cite a CREDIBLE source for this 'radicalization?' Blogs and sites like Newsmax or Free Republic don't count.

I have a second-hand source in regards to Obama. A friend of mine used to live in Chicago, she worked for Obama as volunteer while he was doing community work in the 90's. She worked directly with Barak and Michelle. She says they're "the real deal." Good, hardworking people who were earnestly trying to help the community. This comes from a person I have known for 10 years, and whose word I trust implicitly. I'll take that opinion over this Ayers crap that's being pedaled on the internet.

People seem so desperate to bring Obama down out of spite more than anything. I just don't understand it.

First of all, look into the Ayers connection further. He worked closely with Ayers for 7 years trying to radicalize the public schools. This is fact and can easily be checked online.

To Das: There is plenty that is scandalous in the past of the Huckster! He was called out many times for public corruption while governor and has a bad habit of taking public property for his own as well as breaking the law at campaigning in churches who still keep their tax exempt status. The Judicial Review named Huck as "One of the Top Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians of 2007" along with Barak Obama.

Conspiculously missing from the list is one man who is a moral paragon. The press got so darned mad at him because they just couldn't find any dirt. That would be Mitt Romney. Now we are in this economic crisis there are many who wish he would be steering the ship of state through these rough financial waters.

McCain should immediately name his cabinet including Attorney General Rudy Guliani to go after all the Democrats including Obama that were on the take from Freddie and Fanny. Then Mitt Romney for Commerce or Treasury and go from there (just be sure to keep Huck away from any money or government property small enough to stuff in a moving truck).

Okay... you have a problem with his stance on abortion. I got it.

I have many friends with varying viewpoints... Christian, atheist, Republican, Libertarian, people who've done time. To try and define me by any one or two fo them would give you an extremely skewed view of who I am.

As far as evil unamerican friends... I'm sorry but I don't see it. A passing connection to Ayers, a poet who was a friend of his grandfather's that he doesn't seem to have had a bunch of contact with outside his childhood, a crazy preacher, and his wife?

Really? That's it? C'mon.

And why is it that this guilt by association lens doesn't seem to apply equally on both sides?

Do you think there's a politician anywhere for whom you couldn't dig up someone in their past that would appear "scandalous"?

The same senators and congressmen who destroyed the economy, have bathroom gay sex, molest children, and take bribes... those guys?

R U a parent? Certainly you would appreciate your daughter hanging out with men 10-15 years older than she. Certainly you would be ok if her friends were prostitutes addicted to crack. It would be ok to be 'associated' with a child molester and occasionally watch her friends beat a homeless person to death just for kicks.

We are associated with the people we surround ourselves with, like it or not.

Obama's friends are racist, anti-American, recreants.

Das,
I think that Obama has demonstrated his character throughout this campaign. I like how he's comported himself, and I agree with many of his policies.

You're right. I have not an inkling of in intuition that something just doesn't seem right.

In fact, I find it amazing that anyone would accuse <b>any sitting US Senator of having no respect for the country he serves, of supporting a terrorist agenda (based not on his actions, but on guilt by association), and of having no respect for human life.

Character... what is his background shows character? Is it the people he surrounds himself with now and in he past? Is it the path he took to becoming a man of destiny.

Don't you have even the smallest of concern of how he got to and who helped him get to... You don't even have the smallest concern as to why supporters of terror are encouraged and eager to his possible presidency.

I find is bewildering that you have no concerns, not even an inkling of intuition that something just doesn't seem right.

Any individual with no regard for human life has something wrong inside, that lack of ethics and morality is so blinding that I can only imagine what other choices will he make if he can choose to end life and still sleep at night.
