It is a wretched, pathetic campaign to use fear mongering and outright lies to link Barack Obama with terrorist activity. Sarah Palin does NOT “represent the very best America has to offer”. She represents what America should be very ashamed of: trying to irrationally exacerbate our fears to capitalize on them in getting elected.
I will state that the radical activism of the Weathermen was abhorrent, and they went far past the line of acceptability in rightly fighting the Vietnam War. Ayers was not convicted of a single crime connected to terrorist activities. This doesn’t mean he is free from criticism. He did some very dastardly things of which any person should be supremely ashamed of. In all fairness, he might not show enough remorse for these actions. However, these actions have NOTHING to do with Barack Obama, and they happened when Obama was 8 years old.
What Palin fails to tell you is that Ayers, in his adult life since his early transgressions, has built his life around servitude of the public good and in helping to make real educational progress. His resume is long and impressive in the POSITIVE things he has done for his community, state and nation.
I would hope that we are mature enough to realize the measure of a man is the sum of his deeds. For the few truly awful actions this man did in his youth, he has done far more in his maturity to make the world better. The Bible gives us the story of the Prodigal Son. Whether or not Ayers is a prime example, I am not here to argue. However, Palin would have you rush to judge Barack Obama in negative light and fear based on his very brief work with Ayers on an educational reforms committee. This is work for which both men should be applauded, not condemned. It is quite sad that Palin thinks people are stupid enough not to realize the difference. Even more depressing is that she might be right.
I encourage you to visit the site hosting Ayers’ biography and resume. Do not allow yourself to be made fearful by this zealot who wants nothing more than to turn your fears into her own power.
Somebody doesn’t know what servitude means.
It is true that Ayers was not convicted of any crimes; however, he did admit to them. That is good enough for me.
Someone who is “unrepentant” and who actively works to radicalize students and teachers is not a man deserving of a “break.”
So what if he’s: “built his life around servitude of the public good and in helping to make real educational progress. His resume is long and impressive in the POSITIVE things he has done for his community, state and nation.”
Bull. He has done nothing of value for the country. And, apparently, for his community; as evidenced by the horrible educational system in Chicago.
Ayers has never paid his price for his crimes. He wishes he did more to usurp the country. He is a radical still.
Obama has collaborated with him for ten years. Therefore, Obama willingly associated with a terrorist.
There is absolutely no excuse for either man.
Bill Ayers and Obama spent $60 million dollars and did not teach children to read, the one skill which would have enabled them to learn on their own. Instead, they tried to radicalize them.
Improving the lives of the poor is not what communism is about. Communism thrives when people are wretched and ANGRY. And stirring up their anger is what ACORN and community “activism” are all about.
The housing projects Obama and Rezko worked on are now boarded up. Who has Obama helped? Himself.
An earmark to a hospital his wife worked at ended up tripling her salary from $100,000 to $300,000.
A new telescope for a planetarium brought a promise of a $100,000 donation.
The Obamas are for themselves only.

Comrade Obama is a marxist and closet muslim. His compaigning for Raila Odinga in 2006, and support since, shows his true communist ideology. Our media does not tell the comrade Obama story, since they are invested in his election. Kenya’s losses from the murderous rampaging by Odinga supporters were 500,000 in refugees, and countless victims of genocide, which the Demoncrats ignored. Comrade Obama’s fingerprints are all over the massacres of Kenya’s citizens. He is already getting youth movements in the black neighborhoods, perhaps in preparation for uprisings like those in Kenya that were ordered by Raila Odinga and his muslim ally, Balata. Sadly, this Kenyan story has not ended, as the murderous marxist/muslim alliance is constantly plotting the death of opponents and total assumption of power, the people’s vote be damned. Kenya needs a second amendment, which might have prevented the burning alive of Kenyan Christians in their churches by muslims and Odinga mobs.

There is PROOF that Obama used his elected office—and taxpayers’ dollars—to support a man like Kenya’s Raila Odinga, self touted as “Your Agent for Change,” a violent and dangerous man who made a pact with the Muslims to institute sharia (Islamic law). Obama supporters in Carson chanted “No USA!” Odinga supporters in Kenya, brandished machetes and chanted “No Peace!”
I have watched the documentary of association of Raila Ondinga with Barack Obama and it is the naked truth, since i am a kenyan. Though our country is 90% Obamania, i disliked this fellow for associating with Raila Odinga. All you have is truth in that video. Raila just wants to be so close to helm of power and with Obama presidency, the security and existence of kenya as a nation together with United states will severly be compromised by these two people. Just research more on the ammount of USA tax payers money that Obama used to come and campaighn for Raila Odinga. Also look for the kind of bitter complain given by the government after his delivery of speech at the University of Nairobi Kenya.

As someone born in Ecuador with friends and relatives in Latin America, I’m terrified watching how people in the United States are being manipulated just like people in Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador to put a Marxist in power.
The similarities between Rafael Correa’s campaign for president of Ecuador and that of Obama for U.S. president are amazing. Even the slogans (CHANGE, YES WE CAN, etc.) are the same. Correa’s campaign was part of a plan laid out by Castro at the Marxist Sao Paulo’s forum in the 90’s to spread Marxism. Correa is now a dictator working with Chávez y Islamics. It seems Odinga’s and Obama’s campaigns also part of that plan.
When informed Ecuadorians realized the amazing similarities between candidate Correa and candidate Obama, they felt confident that Americans could not be fooled as Ecuadorians had. However, it seems many Americans are as clueless as the poorest and most ignorant people in Ecuador or Bolivia.
Latin-American presidents-turned Marxist dictators (Chávez, Morales, Correa, etc.) also seem to have connections with Soros and the Islamics. Informed Ecuadorians were not able to convince their clueless compatriots that Correa was a fake and not the young and wonderful savior the media was portraying. They could not compete in ads with the millions Correa had (mostly from unknown sources). The CHANGE has been toward Marxism and greater poverty for all.

Christian and Catholic leaders, including as Pope Benedict XVI and Pope John Paul II, have condemned Liberation Theology as contrary to Christian and Catholic believes.
Castro, Chávez, Correa have also fooled people with Liberation Theology. As Communism failed everywhere, Castro, Chávez, Correa, Obama, etc. do not present themselves as Communists or Marxists any more. But that’s what they are. And they are working with Islamic terrorists to destroy America. Chávez has very close links with Iran’s Ahmadineyad and even calls him “brother.”

If you REALLY want to get scared, watch some of the old film footage of Adolph Hitler when he was running for office in Germany before WWII. He also was a great orator, and the people treated him like he was the Messiah. The crowds swarmed him, giving the Nazi salute, and believed every word he said. I’m not implying that Obama is a Nazi, but look at the similarity in how his supporters treat him. They are completely deaf and blind to anything or anyone who would say anything against him – whether it is the truth, or not. Obama’s associations ARE important, if he plans to be our leader. He has ALWAYS associated himself with radical, leftist, socialist-minded people, and he has done this purposely – because they think like he does. He says race should not be an issue in the campaign, but it seems to be important to his wife. She has said, more than once, that she has met people on the campaign trail that come up to her and say,” I never thought I’d see the day . . .”, but she doesn’t finish the sentence. What she means, but won’t say in public, is: “I never thought I’d see the day when a black man was running for President of the United States”. She doesn’t have to complete the sentence for the true meaning to come through, but she’s shrewd enough not to actually SAY it. There are people who are voting for Obama JUST because he’s black, and there are people NOT voting for him for the same reason. Because of his past association(however “trivial”) with a known domestic terrorist, Obama wouldn’t qualifiy to work for the F.B.I.,and he wouldn’t even qualify to be his own bodyguard if he were elected President. Americans, we need, we DESERVE to have ALL of the facts about someone who aspires to our nation’s highest office. I can’t believe you would compare ANYTHING or ANYONE that Sen. McCain or Gov. Palin have been associated with to the radical American hating people that Barack Husien Obama has been associated with his entire life.
They pale in comparison in my view. In fact from what I’ve been told Obama wouldn’t even qualify to obtain an FBI clearance. And yet so many ignorant people are voting for him to be our Commander in Chief.
I’ve always been told a man is known by who he associates with. Senator Biden said in a rally something to the effect “If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it must be a duck.” I couldn’t agree more!
Only I think it fits Obama perfectly in regards to who he’s been linked to, listens to and has chosen to be influenced by and has sought to associate with. He didn’t sit at the feet of Billy Graham for 20 years.
Obama says what “he thinks” we as American voters want to hear and has no problem changing his message at every turn. Change could be worse it’s not necessarily for better.
John McCain has served his country and shown his true character and integrity, you can’t manufacture that. I would rather put my life in the hands of “proven leadership.”
I pray that America wakes up and hears what Obama has stated in his books and by his associations. Leopards don’t lose their spots neither do radical extremists, although I think they can appear to be something else in order to fool people for a while in order to accomplish their agenda.
