Teachers Union Using The Classroom to Push Barack Obama
-By Warner Todd Huston
A teachers union in Virginia sponsored an “Obama blue day” in schools throughout the state for teachers to show their support for Obama in the classroom. The plan was for teachers to come to work with a blue shirt to show solidarity with Obama.
Naturally — and properly — the Virginia GOP is crying foul and denouncing the effort to indoctrinate children with Obama’s message.
The Virginia Education Association sponsored “Obama Blue Day” on Tuesday. In an e-mail sent last week, it urged teachers to participate by dressing in blue.
“Let’s make Obama Blue Day a day of Action!” the e-mail continues. “Barack the vote!”
Of course, it is outrageous that our nation’s most impressionable, our children, are being indoctrinated by teacher’s unions to support a specific candidate in a contemporary election. It only goes to show how low unions will go to force their views on the voting, and non-voting, public.

Yep, I graduated in 2006 and the teachers made it very clear they were heavily supporting John Kerry and they bashed Bush every which way they possibly could. We were even forced to watch Micheal Moore films.
I only watched a Michael Moore film once in a college class: Roger & Me; in a college sitting smack dab in the middle of Flint, but the teacher was kinda weird anyhow… Moore loves to pick the scabs on all the crap that goes on here. Like in that Columbine video, the little girl shot at Buell, and you could just see exploitation oozing out of him, placing her picture on Charlton Heston’s doorstep…. (I was suffering insomnia and looking for something to put me to sleep – that pretty much did the job.) The school is no place for this, at any level – not even in a high school civics class or a college-level poli-sci class.
I’m a grad student and I work part time in Seminole County Florida Public Schools. I know for a fact that teachers are indoctrinating students in left-wing politics. The indoctrination is subtle. I haven’t seen any Obama buttons, but blue is a fashion statement this fall among the teachers’ union types. And someone pealed a McCain sticker off of my car. I’m probably lucky they didn’t key my car, so I am not going to replace it. A lot of the kids are, unfortunately, brainwashed. I get a lot of what-you-doin’-here, white-man? stares and remarks.

That is disgusting!Sometimes the indoctrination IS subtle. I saw that happening subtlely in a church also.
