Palin gave a very concerning response to Darfur indeed. She is listening to the neo-cons!!!!

America can’t be policeman to the world. Now there are places where we might need to act like Venezuela, Iran, etc.

Those are places where our national interests are at stake.

But Darfur? As tragic as that situation is there are no American interests at state and therefore not even one of our soldiers should be asked to fight and possibly die there.

Liberals love to say how much money Iraq is costing us. Well, yeah, wars and occupations are expensive though sometimes necessary. But how much more expensive will it be if we are going to be the world’s policeman!!!

Our military is for protecting our national interests. It is not right for us to ask our soldiers for anything more than that. And we simply can’t afford it either.</description>
