Palin Vs. Biden: Liveblogging the VP Debate

I’m gonna go for it again and cover this much anticipated VP debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. It will probably be the most watched VP debate ever. Anticipation is high, and expectations from the media are low for Palin. We will see. Enjoy some satire too.…and meet the moderator in the tank for Obama in the meantime. Or play vp debate bingo! And check out this trail of bread crumbs. The stakes are high. Those that are underestimating her should remember her nickname is pitbull in lipstick! Herer is an interesting what if.

If you want to watch the debates live online you can do so here.

We will open up the chat/liveblog around 8:45. In the meantime feel free to talk in the comment section.

Hot Air have a good discussion going too.

Pre-Debate News Flash: Obama Forged the Bible “Quote” That Dedicates His “Dreams from My Father.”

During the past 13 years, apparently no one bothered to check the “quote” that Obama used to add Biblical gravitas to the beginning of his book’s divisive theme of racial alienation, rage and resentment. Only now, on the virtual eve of his likely election as President of the United States, has it been discovered that Obama simply faked the Biblical “quote.” Why would he do something so reckless?

Mr. Obama needed a Bible “quote” to set the tone for his theme that American blacks are merely “sojourners” in the alien land of America. Displaying the “audacity” he admires, Obama brought “change” to 1 Chronicles 29:15. He converted the verse from the its uniting message of our common humanity before God, into a pernicious racial razor dividing America into two camps: 1)a majority “them” that comprises America; and, 2) “we” blacks who are “sojourners,” alien visitors in someone else’s land.

Obama falsely tells his readers that 1 Chronicles 29:15 says “For we are strangers before THEM (emphasis added), and sojourners, as were all our fathers.” “Sojourners” of course means aliens in a foreign land, visitors who don’t really belong.

In Obama’s unseen hand, the Bible’s “you” or “thou” (meaning God) becomes an unwelcoming “THEM,” (capitals added) and the semi-colon in the Bible verse conveniently “changes” to a period, full stop. Obama’s inserted period cuts a trusting reader off from any chance of grasping the true and quite different meaning of the real Biblical verse.

If we elect him, we hand the reins to a recklessly deceptive man, a cipher
obsessed with his racial resentments, endlessly going over and over the racial
slights he perceives himself to have experienced. But if we do not elect him, many of his followers may conclude the very worst about the “them” Obama has cleverly inserted into 1 Chronicles 29:15.

The McCain campaign has GOT to make an ad with Joe Biden’s line today, on what he would do about a nuclear-armed Iran: “talk, talk, talk…”

    Larry,
I don’t know what debate you watched but Biden is the one that was obliterated by a very young woman. She made him look like an old fool.

Larry, are you feeling a little scared? Do you need a hug?

I was very concerned about her answer on Dafur?

We don’t need to be involved there. Don’t we have enough wars that we have to fight? Why get involved in something where our national interests aren’t at stake?

McCain/Palin have to use the time left to talk the issues and get out the true record…counter the Dems. lies which they are very good at getting out to the public on the mainstream media outlets…Attacking character issues isn’t the answer at this point. Getting out the facts on the separation/differences between Bush and McCain policy and countering the tax on healthcare IS the answer, those are the biggest messages the Obama campaign continues to pound home…this must be countered with the truth. They present it like they were running mates and it just isn’t fact.
Quit talking about Palin being qualified for president…she is and no need to worry about it. Keep it simple…
