I cant believe McCain is not naming names and exposing the Democrat politicians and the Fredie and Fannie CEO’s that are on Obama’s side… What an Idiot.. I am so disappointed in McCain.. He had a perfect opportunity to expose these people and blow Obama away on the debate. There were 54 million viewers.. He blew it and with it the election. The american people want blood for this mess and McCain can point out the names of these people!!! Instead he states that no blame should be placed yet… The dems are placing this mess at Bush’s feet and by extension McCain’s. Can’t he see this??? Is he senile???? He is supposed to be the reformer.. He should be acting like he is outraged at the corruption and instead is trying to make nice with Pelossi… Unbelievable

John McCain is total idiot. First he picks a VP who has zero experience and much less common sense. His campaign is run by lobbyists who only know how to use the republicans to make money out of America. Then he goes off to create a mess of the bill that was more important than any bill since the last great depression. The American people can see through this idiot.

Bush and McCain has effectively destroyed the GOP and any goodwill it may have had. The Perfect combination of Dumb and Dumber and then they picked Palin .. the dumbest.

The drop in people’s savings because of this vote will resonate through the next month and the GOP is looking at a political armageddon. too bad they had to eat all our savings with it …

Hey, Matt? You do know that your party has a majority in both houses and can simply vote for the bailout bill without one single Republican vote. Fail PSCI 1100 much? Why did 90 of them vote nay? Why won’t they simply pass the bill and take credit for it? Fannie, Freddie, and Goldman Sachs Democrats! Main Street, my a$$! These people are watching the backs of their largest contributors.

The Republicans should have walked away from this and told the Dems to pass it themselves. They have the majority, why are they so afraid to lead? Then every Republican can campaign on the Fannie/Freddie bailout and tell America the truth; that they wouldn’t use the tax money of responsible Americans to bail out Wall Street or K Street, but the Democrats did.

We all know how this whole bailout vote is going to turn out don’t we.

Congressional leaders are going to count noses to make sure they have enough votes and then they are going to allow those in tough competitive races to vote against it.

That is why I often compare this whole thing (politics) to a wrestling match. All choreographed ahead of time.

That is why even if my Congressperson votes No I am still not very inclined to let him or her off the hook as they are still just playing the game.

I need to see some very strong opposition otherwise a mere no vote will not gain anything with me.
