Click the link, Levi, and read again what James wrote. Palin's quote was completely taken out of context, and, in some MSM cases, rewritten

Sarah Palin just so happens to be CORRECT about dinosaurs and humans coexisting 6,000 years ago. Matter of fact, we're still coexisting together. It is widely accepted in the Paleontological field that birds are nothing more than feathered dinosaurs. There are so many transitional dinosaur/avian fossils known that this is practically irrefutable. Now, her reasons for saying what she did (or didn't!) may be different from pure science, but too bad—in the world of damning sound bits, her "statement" IS CORRECT.

Yeah, um, what's the difference? You're saying it's totally different to 'interpret' the Iraq war as a mission from God, versus saying that it is a mission from God?

My understanding is Governor Palin paraphrased President Lincoln when she prayed that it was proper to interpret Iraq as a mission from God as Lincoln prayed that defending the union was a mission from God. Both said they hoped their intentions were in line with God's. Palin was misquoted to make it appear she said Iraq was a mission from God.

When you say 'no no no' with regards to her talking about Iraq being a mission from God, what do you mean, exactly?

Talk about hearsay! Check out the blog of the wingnut who I'm sure sincerely remembers every word Sarah Palin allegedly said 11 years ago.

http://progressivealaska.blogspot.com/

No doubt a reliable person to use as the sole source for a provocative and decidedly negative article of a candidate for VP; provided you're looking for someone who can reliably say something negative about Palin. Also, the article makes no mention of an attempt to contact Palin for reaction.

Is the LA Times still considered a real newspaper?
