Saracuda: Iran Must Be Stopped

Posted on September 22, 2008

Compare and contrast Sarah’s notions regarding Iran to Barry’s. Here is part of the speech she would have given at the Ahmadinejad protest (read the full thing at The NY Sun)

I am honored to be with you and with leaders from across this great country — leaders from different faiths and political parties united in a single voice of outrage.

Tomorrow, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to New York — to the heart of what he calls the Great Satan — and speak freely in this, a country whose demise he has called for.

Ahmadinejad may choose his words carefully, but underneath all of the rhetoric is an agenda that threatens all who seek a safer and freer world. We gather here today to highlight the Iranian dictator’s intentions and to call for action to thwart him.

He must be stopped.

The world must awake to the threat this man poses to all of us. Ahmadinejad denies that the Holocaust ever took place. He dreams of being an agent in a “Final Solution” — the elimination of the Jewish people. He has called Israel a “stinking corpse” that is “on its way to annihilation.” Such talk cannot be dismissed as the ravings of a madman — not when Iran just this summer tested long-range Shahab-3 missiles capable of striking Tel Aviv, not when the Iranian nuclear program is nearing completion, and not when Iran sponsors terrorists that threaten and kill innocent people around the world.

Forceful. On point. She goes after the bad guy. We already know that Barry’s first impulse is to talk to Mahmoud without conditions, but, he likes to change it up to sound tough

“I think that a nuclear-armed Iran is not just a threat to us, it’s a threat to Israel,” Obama said. “It is a game-changer in the region. It’s unacceptable. And that’s why I’ve said that I won’t take any options off the table, including military, to prevent them from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”

Options like having tea and crumpets with Mahmoud. Interestingly, there is no mention on Obama’s official webpage that military options are even considered an option (picture of it here.) Funny how ones own policy stances can destroy a pretty speech. And, yes, it does still say he would talk to Mahmoud with absolutely no preconditions.

The Democratic hopeful went on to claim that the Bush administration had wasted time in failing to address the Iranian threat, saying, “We have not applied the kind of tough diplomacy over the last eight years that I think could have made a difference.”

Perhaps Barry should take that up with the EU and UN, who have been trying for years. But, hey, nothing like blaming the wrong people thru BDS, right, Barry?

Do you think little miss saracuda had ever even heard the name Ahmadinejad before 3 weeks ago? She’s just a McCain puppet who says what she’s told to say, even uses Bush’s speech writer. How’s that for reform? Palin is a total tool being used to get votes and that’s all. If McCain could vote for anyone to be President other than himself, guarantee you he doesn’t vote for Palin in a million years. Only picked her to get women to vote for him. Women who say whatever he and his speech writers tell her to say, even if she has no real experience with it at all.

Just curious, ’sucker’, as to what evidence
you have that Gov. Palin did not have more
input as to what her speech writer wrote than
you seem to believe. My guess is that you and
your like-minded minions have absorbed the
“she’s told what to say” meme without any
critical thought whatsoever. In your world,
conjecture and self-pleasing thinking is as
good as fact. I would like to see how minds
of that kind react to a nearby nuclear burst.

Lets not move away from the issue making fuss over who was told what to say. The fact is that she said something and what she said sounds great and acceptable to me for handling the threat to world peace, but the other dude, my black bro who said what he wanted to say and not what he was told to say, seem to be patting A-MAD-NAD on the back. He dosent have balls to be a commander in chief of the greatest nation of our time.
Take it this is coming from Nigeria-West Africa.

Barak Hussein Obama is nothing but a snake oil salesman with nothing to deliver but empty promises. He’s accomplished absolutely nothing in his half-term in the senate, yet we’re supposed to believe that he’s qualified to be president.

At least with Palin, we know that she’s actually gotten things done in her home state. She may not have been in politics long, but at least she can point to things that she’s accomplished.

Hillary clinton was right when she endorsed McCain over Obama. His whole campain IS based off of a speech from 2002.
