Romney has an extraordinary ability to forge consensus among opposing views. He zeroes in on problems, crafts practical solutions, and inspires collaboration.

Yet he failed to secure the nomination…imagine that!

The truth of the matter is; if Romney were able to forge consensus, zero in on problems, craft practical solutions, inspire collaboration and were as skillful as you claim… he would be the nominee.

It takes a real winner to come in here and assign such extraordinary attributes to Romney and yet claim that a lesser skilled and qualified candidate (who couldn’t muster enough support to get himself on the ticket) was able to keep Romney off the ticket.
