The way that I was taught is that you don’t wear a rosary however, it is common in the Hispanic community to do so. Why? That’s a question that I cannot answer. It is also common in prisons – again, I don’t know why.

And just to be clear, you pray the Holy Rosary, the beads are just rosary.

I don’t think you are suppose to be wearing the Holy Rosary around your neck.

But in this case, the school, the police, and whomever finds this to be a “gang symbol” are a bit moronic. Another thing to think about, this is Texas, and Catholis are not the most welcomed people their.

Or, just another reason why we should get rid of public schooling all together.
