Trump Endorses McCain

Politico:

“I know John McCain, and John McCain’s a great guy, a tremendous guy,” Trump told King. “I’ve known him for a long time. And I’m with him, and I’m with him based on the fact that I have great knowledge of John McCain. Also, this is not the right time for tax increases. And Obama wants to increase your taxes drastically.”

Well, maybe not your taxes. But certainly The Donald’s: Obama would repeal President Bush tax cuts for households making more than $250,000.

During the Democratic primaries, Trump donated to Hillary Clinton, according to records posted by the Center for Responsive Politics. Trump donated to McCain in May, according to the records.

“I don’t understand why Hillary wasn’t chosen [for vice president],” Trump said. “ She was really winning. I have a friend that came to this country and was here for the last four weeks of that whole election. He said: How did she lose? She won every primary? He didn’t understand it.

“The fact is, that Obama went limping across the finish line. He should have chosen Hillary, It would have been a much different race, I believe. Right now, it looks to me like McCain is probably winning.”

It’ll get painted as a fat cat endorsement, but did you expect a capitalist to endorse a communist? Not really a surprise. I’m sure someone will now label him a racist…he is white after all.

You notice that wealthy people who once endorsed Oblahblah are now endorsing McCain?

Oblahblah has been telling people to read his economic plan.

    I guess they did!

LOL Kay – I think so too. Only I don’t believe him and his talking head about cutting taxes for 95% of us, what with all his “great plans” he wants the American taxpayer to cough up for. Anyone who works, anyone who has money, they’re gonna pay an arm and a leg, and probably an ear or two, for his social programs.

Sure he’s supporting McCain. He loves this corporate socialism; free market capitalism until the ball falls and then the taxpayer (us) pays up again. All of the wealthy people and corporations are supporting McCain so they can get another cut in taxes and continue to shift the burden onto the shrinking almost non-existent middle class. the wealthy are partying on while the rest of us are scrambling to keep what little we have to live on and for retirement.

Folks, isn’t this Donald Trump the same guy who endorsed G.W. Bush in the previous 2 elections. Now… look where we are today, stuck with probably the worst president of the US since the begining of the USA.

Donald the clown might be looking for a tax break for the rich from McCain, but I won’t take his recomandation again!

Trump an elite clown and only has two adjectives in his dictionary, great and tremendous.

  6. Eagle on September 18th, 2008 2:22 pm

Donald the Clown Trump has filed for bankruptcy protection for his casinos twice. Every Dick and Harry is a great friend of his. This arrogant moron represents everything that is wrong with this me first society. He is an opportunist and will not blink an eye to see this country get flushed down the toilet as long as he can say ‘you are fired’

Wow, Trump endorses McCain. What a HUGE shock! The endorsements of greedy, big corporation moguls like Trump and all the Golden Parachuters are exactly why middle class people SHOULDN’T vote for McCain. The Rich know who’s going to protect their precious $$$$$$$$$ so they won’t have to be faced with the tough choice of which one of their 6 Bentley limos to sell. My heart goes out to them.

Let’s vote these greed-mongers out of office so we can return our economy to the hands of the regular folks upon who’s backs this country was built.

If you make a 1/4 million or more per year, by all means vote McCain if you are so greedy you think a couple extra thousand dollars in taxes is gonna break you. Anyone else has NO EXCUSE. VOTE! REGISTER! VOTE! NO EXUSES! NO APATHY! GET UP AND VOTE FOR THE ECONOMY AND THE COUNTRY YOU LOVE!

This is no surprise that Donald Trump would endorse McCain and actually an endorsement that I feel hurts the McCain cause more than it helps. In a CNN interview today with Wolf Blitzer, Trump stated that not two years ago. but now is the time to buy real estate. Who is he talking to? He couldn’t possibly have been talking to middle class America who is in danger of losing their homes and have problems with credit card debt and would need a loan, which banks are not giving, in order to buy any real estate. He then went on to congratulate himself for buying a country club at a fraction of the price. A country club that middle america will never see the inside of, let alone be able to afford to buy without assistance from some financial institution! This just goes to show how out of touch Republicans are with the needs of the middle class. Trump no doubt profited from the Bush administration. Why would he not want 4 more years of the same?
