CNN Political Ticker: Obama’s teleprompter hits the trail
(CNN) — It appears Barack Obama’s teleprompter is hitting the campaign trail.
The Democratic presidential nominee has never tried to hide the fact he delivers speeches off the device, though normally he doesn’t use one at standard campaign rallies and town hall events.
But the Illinois senator used a teleprompter at both his Colorado events Monday — making for a particularly peculiar scene in Pueblo, where the prompter was set up in the middle of what is normally a rodeo ring.
Nothing more to say. I left my teleprompter in the car. It melted.

So, kids, what does this story tell us? Maybe that McCain and Palin are definitely inside The One’s OODA loop? And, perhaps, that Obama is now so freaked out about staying on-message and avoiding gaffes that he can no longer leave anything to chance?

So poor at extemporaneous speaking he has to carry around a teleprompter?
No wonder he flatly refuses to debate McCain in town hall events.
What’s even funnier is that their initial ‘reasoning’ was they didn’t want to give McCain airtime since he was behind in the polls. Now that McCain is ahead, what is their new excuse?
No wonder he won’t hold a townhall meeting with McCain…he’s afraid! If he can’t speak with voters and McCain…how is going to “negotiate” with sharks like Putin or Ahmadinejad. This guy is SO unacceptable, that I think half the nation has lost it’s collective mind.
