Huffington Post Panic: Replace Biden With Hillary!

Now, wouldn’t it get really fun if this happened?

There’s a worrisome shift in momentum and in the polls. The Palin phenomenon, while truly unfathomable to Democrats, has energized McCain’s campaign and allowed him like Houdini to snatch Obama’s “change” theme right out from under him. It’s time to snatch it back.

Conventional wisdom says replacing Biden with Clinton can’t be done. That it’s too late. That it’ll make Obama appear indecisive, impulsive and lacking good judgement. Many Democrats believe this would cause irreparable harm to the campaign, ringing Obama’s death knell. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, it’d be a freakin’ coup for Obama, and would instantly melt Palin’s undeserving outsize political ice cap.

I have another idea. Why doesn’t Obama fire his campaign manager and hire a Huffington Post writer? Hopefully Obama will listen to this guy and come across like a total-meltdown, wishy-washy, inexperienced amateur that doesn’t trust his own judgment for the sake of political expediency. That would really sink Obama’s Titanic. I hope Obama takes this guy’s advice. It would be political suicide.

I’ve got a better way that Obama could stay in the fight. Come up with some actual policy plans.

And if Obama does so, it could spell political suicide. Therefore, he just might do it.

Its not rocket science, all Obama has to do is show how Mccain is not the Common man, especially if he can connect his historical economic views to the failing housing market. Palin and waffles and lipstick
is a distraction because McCain has little substance

Problem is, Obama is not the common man. And without a track record on paper to validate his oral accomplishments, you got nothin’.

Obama needs to simply Google Thomas Eagleton and see how well George McGovern did when he replaced his VP pick after the convention.

He doesn’t need to Google Thomas Eagleton. His guys were throwing that name around just two weeks ago when they thought they’d destroyed Palin right out of the gate. In fact, it’s probably the first a lot of people had heard the name. Way to bring it up, geniuses.

It was very clever of Palin to bring up the “Hillary as VP” point in an interview in the last couple of days.

I think that switching to HRC would have been a net win for Obee. By bringing the idea forward herself, Palin makes it less palatable for the Dems to do so. Clever blocking move.

There’s a big fly in that ointment. Hillary would say “no” if she was asked and she would have a legitimate excuse to do so that no one would blame her for- she would say it wouldn’t work and would only be detrimental to his chance of winning so she would never agree to it. Of course, that could be the excuse publicly- but privately she sees Obama tanking and is going to do the least she can to help him because she knows he’s losing and that would give her a chance at the White House in 2012.

Obama actually thinks a carefully about his decisions – he doesn’t just play some cynical game – that is why he chose the person who he thinks will compliment his administration. He will never ditch Biden for Hillary he is much too smart for that. Most of the Americans know Obama would be a better leader and the rest of you will just have to deal with a country that has a better economy and you may actually be able to afford healthy care and America will once again have moral authority in the world and won’t go to war on false pretenses and the list goes on about how much better off we’ll be when Obama is President. You all will be lucky you were in the minority.

MCAIN SHOULD REPLACE PALIN. NOW THAT WOULD BE SMART. I KNOW IT MAY NOT LOOKTHAT WAY NOW – BUT JUST WATCH IT UNFOLD!

Wouldn’t be surprised if Joe started having some “health problems” and had to be replaced. Thank about it.

Biden is a perfect politician – experienced, intelligent, wise. But that’s it. When Palin came to stage, and “PalinMania” started, Biden became invisible. So rumors claim, that Biden will officially “resign because of health problems”, and Obama will invite Hillary to join his fight against Palin. Because she, and no longer McCain, is Obama’s biggest problem now.
On the other hand, Obama’s supporters don’t like Hillary, and Obama himself does not like to be “the second”, which is OK for McCain, as Palin now seems like presidential candidate, not McCain himself.
Another question is, if the rumors are correct, why should Mrs Clinton accept VP ticket anyway…
Moreover, similar talks were going about McCain dumping Palin, and majority of our visitors now see them as only misleading whispers. http://www.votetheday.com/polls/obama-is-dumping-biden-269/
