Matt Damon – The Bourne Insanity
Posted on September 10, 2008
Jason Bourne is a fictional character in novels written by Robert Ludlum. During a mission Bourne, a CIA agent, is shot in the head and suffers amnesia. Matt Damon portrayed Bourne in the movie version of the novels and did a remarkable job with the character.
Unfortunately, it would seem that Matt Damon has trouble with his brain in real life. He was interviewed and gave his impression of Sarah Palin. Damon stated that the selection of Palin worried him. He stated that he wanted to know if she wanted to ban books and why. That Democratic rumor has been disproved but there are still those who are unable to see the truth. Damon also wanted to know if Palin thought dinosaurs roamed the Earth 4000 years ago. I guess he thinks her name is PALINtologist.
The interesting thing is that Damon questions Palin’s experience by saying she was the Mayor of a very, very, small town and has only been a Governor for a year and a half. This gives him pause because she is, according to Damon, likely to become president. Damon bases this on actuary tables.
In the interview, which was more an Obama endorsement, Damon never once expressed the same reservations about Barack Obama who has never been the mayor of a town of any size. Obama’s sole claim to experience is his service as a community organizer (running his campaign not withstanding /snark), which I think means he was not the leader of the entire population, very small or otherwise. Obama has only been a Senator for 4 years and he has been campaigning for 2 of them which means he began his run with a whopping 2 years of legislative, not executive experience. Obama has spent more time running for office than he has serving in the Senate where he has worked for fewer than 200 days. Palin’s year and a half as Governor is a year and a half of executive experience and that does not count her executive time as mayor. Regardless of the amount of time, it is more than Obama has.
In a surreal comedy where life imitates art, it appears that Damon took a shot of liberal Obama Kool-aid to the head and has lost the ability to engage in rational thought.
Damon said that Palin reminded him of a really bad Disney movie. If they made a movie about Damon’s support of Obama it would have to be called The Bourne Insanity.

Word has it that Mark Wahlberg used live ammo when he shot Damon in the head during the last scene of “The Departed.”
Poor Matt, he’s never been the same since.
Apparently there was no brain inside for the live ammo projectile to damage…
“Damon said that Palin reminded him of a really bad Disney movie.”
Well, if there’s one thing Damon knows, it’s what a bad movie is. He’s certainly been in a lot of them.
If only America has more people like Matt Damon, the world certainly would have been a much better place. But instead, it is full of grossly ignorant people who put American Idol before any intelligent documentaries or the likes of Palin before Obama/Biden.

The world already has too many people like Matt Damon, we call them liberals. It certainly is not a better place because of them.
…but it wouldn’t be nearly as bad as a really dreadful Matt Damon movie…
Bo A Military Family War Hero or muslin trick baby, that’s a no brainier fool (ò¿ó)
Back in 1996, when she first became mayor, Sarah Palin asked the city librarian if she would be all right with censoring library books should she be asked to do so. According to news coverage at the time, the librarian said she would definitely not be all right with it. A few months later, the librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons, got a letter from Palin telling her she was going to be fired. The censorship issue was not mentioned as a reason for the firing. The letter just said the new mayor felt Emmons didn’t fully support her and had to go. Emmons had been city librarian for seven years and was well liked. After a wave of public support for her, Palin relented and let Emmons keep her job.
Damon wants to know if Palin thinks dinosaurs roamed the earth 4000 years ago because he wants to know her views on creationism. Creationists believe dinosaurs roamed on earth thousands of years ago. Evolutionists and most scientists believe it was millions of years ago. Palin is open to teaching creationism alongside evolution in public classrooms. That is a violation of separation of church and state. If creationism is taught in public schools, it should remain in theology courses, not portrayed as scientific fact.
Sam you are on the money! But I think you are the only sober person at the bar. Big Dog is Obviously for McCain and facts don’t matter the hard core believer. If Big Dog saw the dems do this he would have a problem with it.
Sam and Tony, you guys should get your facts straight. Palin requested the resignation letters of several people appointed by the previous administration as a test of loyalty (common practice and she hired them all back). She only asked how the librarian felt about removing books and never asked that books be removed. The librarian resigned several years later as Palin was ready for her second term.
Four days before the exchange at the City Council, Emmons got a letter from Palin asking for her resignation. Similar letters went to police chief Irl Stambaugh, public works director Jack Felton and finance director Duane Dvorak. John Cooper, a fifth director, resigned after Palin eliminated his job overseeing the city museum.
Palin told the Daily News back then the letters were just a test of loyalty as she took on the mayor’s job, which she’d won from three-term mayor John Stein in a hard-fought election. Stein had hired many of the department heads. Both Emmons and Stambaugh had publicly supported him against Palin.
Emmons survived the loyalty test and a second one a few months later. She resigned in August 1999, two months before Palin was voted in for a second mayoral term.

You are repeating a story that is not true (like most other stories that have come out about Palin).
I am a creationist and believe that dinosaurs roamed the Earth millions of years ago. More than 80% of the country does not believe in evolution. I do not believe in evolution. It is a theory that has NEVER been proven and the so called evidence in the beginning of the last century turned out to be phony.
Just to let you know, our Constitution does not say anything about separation of Church and state. It says that Congress shall make no law establishing religion. In other words, Congress may not make a law that recognizes a specific religion as the religion of the US. It says nothing about what we may teach in school or display in public buildings or in the town square.
The phrase “wall of separation” was penned by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists and was a political statement and not a religious pronouncement:
Although today Jefferson’s Danbury letter is thought of as a principled statement on the prudential and constitutional relationship between church and state, it was in fact a political statement written to reassure pious Baptist constituents that Jefferson was indeed a friend of religion and to strike back at the Federalist-Congregationalist establishment in Connecticut for shamelessly vilifying him as an infidel and atheist in the recent campaign. James H. Hutson of the Library of Congress has concluded that the President regarded his reply to the Danbury Baptists as a political letter, not as a dispassionate theoretical pronouncement on the relations between government and religion.[4]

I support McCain now that he has Palin on the ticket. Matt Damon is a clown. And for the record, I am against untrue statements by anyone.
So, still believe I think facts don’t matter?
As for facts, when was the last time you vetted Obama because you Kool Aid drinkers sure ignore many facts about that Communist.
Matt Damon is very cool with lots of fans. I like the way he presents himself in interviews. He will thank the stunt men that help make the action movies he is in a success.
Matt Damon and Moby both support Obama/Biden. Notice that the artists were one of the first to support Obama. Artist voices count too. This is a Democracy. Now Schmidt and Rove what to take out our artists this election year.
Here a cool video of Matt Damon and Moby …
‘Bourne Identity’ track by Moby

Its a great move with a great sound track. Obama has over 70 real life retired Generals supporting him, which gives the artists the freedom to create art like this.
This clip is hilarious. actuary tables? I think he means actuarial tables, and you don’t “do” them, you simply read them as you would any other table!
Palin for President! (lol)
Yeil,
Put the bong down dude.
No one is trying to stifle artists. The problem is, artists think they can say what they want and not be taken to task. If they open their mouths, they are fair game especially when they say something STUPID.
What is your point, nearly all in the entertainment industry support Obama. That industry is full of left wing liberal twits.
A RESPONSE TO ACTOR MATT DAMON …
MATT …
Everyone knows that you and Ben Afflick have been in the tank for Obama, way before Palin even entered the campaign.
You’re just an actor. Your lines are written for you, just like a speech writer creates the lines for Obama. A director tells you what to do each moment . Make-up people and costurme designers work on your appearance. Other than that, you’re just like anybody else, except you seem to think that since you’re
a manufactured celebrity, your opinion means more, but it doesn’t.
QUESTION:
IS PALIN QUALIFIED COMPARED TO OBAMA ?
ANSWER:

Once again … if you compare McCain/Palin’s track record with Obama/Biden’s, it’s no contest. McCain/Palin are a hundred times more qualified to lead this country. McCain/Palin show scores of actual achievements and solid service to America, while once again, Obama’s track record is one of excessive absences from his responsibilities, and all talk with no actual experience, or contributions to America.
Like Governor Palin has pointed out … Obama had the time to write two memoirs, but never wrote one piece of significant legislation … not even when he was in the state legislature. Regarding earmarks, and the economy … If Obama gets elected, his irresponsible and clueless ideas for shifting America’s wealth would turn the U.S.A. into a third world country, with businesses laying off employees to keep their doors open. Obama’s ideas for national security would de-fang America and make us weak, putting us at the mercy of the world’s tyrants
