ACLU Pitches Hissy Fit Over NC Sheriff

Johnson County, NC, Sheriff Steve Bizzell recently said some unflattering things about both legal and illegal immigrants. Let’s check the story
The American Civil Liberties Union of North Carolina and other civil rights groups say they suspect Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell of discriminating against Hispanics and have begun an investigation.
In a letter today to Bizzell, the ACLU’s legal director said the groups were “deeply alarmed” by comments that the sheriff made in an interview with The News & Observer. The comments “may constitute direct evidence of racial discrimination and animus” toward Latinos in Johnston County, wrote legal director Katherine Lewis Parker.
Parker asked the sheriff to turn over arrest records, jail book entries, documents related to license and DWI checkpoints and statistical information about arrests. She asked for the records by Sept. 19.
And now the ACLU has “demanded that the Sheriff’s Office comply with their public records request no later than Friday, September 19, 2008.”
I wasn’t aware that the ACLU was a government agency that could do that. If only they would spend half the time protecting American citizens from illegal aliens (why does it seem like deja-vu to write that?) as they do trying to protect people who are here illegally.
Here is the ACLU of NC’s major hissy fit points
- Pointing to tiendas that have cropped up amid local barbecue joints, saying, “You can’t even read the durned sign. Everywhere you look, it’s like little Mexico around here.”
- Condemning undocumented Latino immigrants for “breeding like rabbits” and for spreading a culture of drunkenness and violence, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
- Claiming that undocumented Latino immigrants “rape, rob and murder” American citizens, fail to pay taxes and drain social services, again despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
- “How long is it going to be until we’re the minority?”
- “Mexicans are trashy.”
- “When people think about illegal Mexicans, you know the first thing they think of?” Bizzell says – “driving drunk and shooting.”
Now, some of those points by Bizzell are rather rude, but, really, most of his points of view are correct. I see no point in going through them one by one, you can go through my archives, the archives of Stop The ACLU, Michelle Malkin’s, and many, many others, and see the damage illegals have done. Apparently, the NC-ACLU has a problem with the Free Speech Rights of an American citizen, but no problem with protecting illegals who are not covered by the Constitution.
And, in another deja-vu moment, I wonder where the ACLU was during the Duke Lacrosse rape case. Apparently, illegal aliens are more important.

Seems to me, that any right (meaning correct) thinking prosecutor would see these “advisory” letters for what they are, attempts to extort the will of the ACLU out of private citizens, companies, and local governments. If the ACLU were entitled to the documents that they’ve “requested” then wouldn’t they have a subpoena?
Word to the wise, never comply with an ACLU “advisory” letter. Make them get a judge to order you to comply. Then and only then can you counter their extortionist ways.
Time for the good sheriff to go bust ‘em for one of the several illegal things that we know they are doing.

If we enact the Federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088) enforcement only law. Millions of illegal aliens will leave by self-deportation. ATTRITION! No job, they will leave of their own accord. Only anti-American groups and Liberal-Democrat-Socialists are stopping this law. ASK THEM WHY?

The ACLU is full of dung. They are an organization that scours the United States and searches for tiny crosses on buildings and historical monuments for removal. They protect illegal alien foreign nationals, and act as if the citizenry is the enemy, and they constantly work to destroy the immigration laws of the United States. Is it not time to ask oneself, exactly what is the agenda of the ACLU? They certainly have one, and it isn’t working for Americans best interests.
Sone people argue that the ACLU started as a good thing that got corrupted from within. This is erroneous. The ACLu was founded as a communist organization, mainly because the founder of the ACLu is a self-proclaimed communist. Everybody belonging to this organization should be brought up on charges of treason.
One point of correction: Anyone can do a public records request, for any reason. For example, if you think some public agency is doing things they shouldn’t, do a records request, including emails.
Why is there an A.C.L.U. Maybe it’s time we “demand” the ACLU to present their public records for examination by no later than Friday, September 19, 2008 regarding their activities in defending illegal immigrants.
What the sheriff said is the absolute truth. I admire Him for his honesty and bravery. Every illegal alien living in North Carolina has some kind of connection with this county. there you can find somebody who will sell you all the fake IDs you want and also representations of all the dangerous existing gangs that now are afflicting every town. The ACLU has no business going after the sheriff, They should help to solve the problems with all the illegal aliens we have in this state. The help the sheriff needs is more officials to bring down all the drug smuggling,gangs,rapes and drunken drivers in that area.

The ACLU is a socialist group bent on destroying our country. That group of traitors is never around when a legal American’s rights are infringed upon but when an illegal alien commits a crime and whines about his supposed “rights” the ACLU is all over the case supporting that’s scums cause.
That treasonous group needs to be disbanded.
