Hey Wait! I Thought Sarah Palin Was Avoiding the Media!

Irony. The McCain camp offers Sarah Palin’s first interview to ABC, the same news network spreading the rumor that she was avoiding the media. Heh.

She was avoiding the media. By the time the interviews happen, it’ll be close to two weeks between the announcement and her first interview.

I dare you to compare that to all of the other VP candidates of the past twenty years. I bet even Dan Quayle was made available faster than that.

Unlike most other VP candidates, this lady needed a crash course on national politics. That shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

    She was avoiding the media.

I don’t know that she was avoiding the media, but I’m confident that given the frenzied atmosphere of the media since the announcement – the McCain campaign would have been morons to push her into that pool of piranha before it calmed down.
