Big Bounce for McCain Among Likely Voters!
It is definitely official now! The McCain ticket got a bounce from the convention and the pick of Sarah Palin as his running mate! First, Zogby showed McCain took a 4 point lead. Next, Gallup showed a huge swing giving McCain a 3 point advantage. But look at this shocking poll from USA Today/Gallup!
McCain leads Democrat Barack Obama by 50%-46% among registered voters, the Republican’s biggest advantage since January and a turnaround from the USA TODAY poll taken just before the convention opened in St. Paul. Then, he lagged by 7 percentage points.
That is a solid 4 point lead, but it’s also an 11 point turn around swing! That is huge! But check this out!
In the new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote. The survey of 1,022 adults, including 959 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/- 3 points for both samples.
A ten point advantage with likely voters! Wow! What a difference a week can make, or should I say…what a difference putting a real conservative on the ticket can make? No wonder Ace put up the flaming skull! Allow me to let out a cautious woo hoo! But hey, we’ve still got a long ways to go.

And McCain has just BEGUN fighting.
Go, Sarah, Go!
WOW Great news thank you for the information.
It makes me nervous. Polls are almost always rigged, so this, more than likely, is yet another manipulative ploy on the part of leftist polsters. Are they imagining America always sides with the underdog? That’s true in some areas, and Liberlas may be stupid enough to think it will also apply tom policitice, but it dooesn’t.
Most Americans perceive that if the person they voted for didn’t win, then their vote didn’t count. Illogical, but then so are many voters.
But, then again, maybe this time the MSM really blew it and the midless middle finally realized that the press is aggressively leftist. Unfortunately the Mindless Middle (who really decides most elections) also has a very short memory as well as a short attention span.
Go McCain / Palin, hope they win if not Canada here I come
So are the liberals still insisting how McCain made a mistake? I love hearing them try to rationalize that.
