It was not out of context, read the statement again, it is about parenting and that is what was addressed. Do you think a man would be questioned about his children? George Bush wasn’t when his daughters went out on a bar hopping night. Children should be out of the discussion, whether it be a man or woman running for any office.

That was completely out of context. Laura Ingraham had taken issue with a Sally Quinn statement and called it sexist, and the attorney was saying that the statement was about parenting, not sexism. He was evaluating someone else’s statement, not expressing his own opinion. You left that part out, of course.

I take exception to your comments, sir; I am not a coward. I did not respond anonymously over the internet, my e-mail and name are registered with this site. I believe that free speech is still in the Constitution. Being a devoted father is wonderful, and I have no evidence to state that he is not. If anything, I had the wherewithal to even express my opinion, as most people do not bother. However, if I were not trained to do an interview on the radio or TV for hours, I wouldn’t do it, I believe in being prepared, and since Howard Gutman is a lawyer, I would think he would be prepared for any interview; as far as being trained he is a Washington lawyer, enough said! Since he spoke publically and is an original member of Obama’s campaign National Finance Committee, he then opened himself up to the court of public opinion. From what I have read about Mr. Gutman he is a partner in a law firm in Washington and comments about the campaign on a regular basis. He spoke publicly about a political figure and that being said, he then opened himself up to commentary. If he believes in something or someone, he has every right to express his opinion, however, I have a right to also express my opinion about his commentary. He may be a man of integrity, as I am a woman of integrity, and people have a right to disagree with me (just as you did) as I have disagreed with his comments. I am a parent of 6 children ages 25-8 years old, I have learned in my years to be careful of critizing parents their parenting, because you never know what will happen in your own family. We all make mistakes and should be forgiven, but the stakes are higher when you are in the position that Mr. Gutman is in, speaking for Senator Obama. I expressed an opinion, as you did. Children and their decisions/lives are not to be politicalized and should be off limits in any debate, especially in a national election. I am sure you do not want your children or how you have raised them to be the conduit on how you are viewed professionally.

The leftist mean spirited media reported that Trig was Bristol child…no one would have known about her pregancy if that lie had not been reported. Mr, Gutman doesn’t know the dynamics of Gov Palain’s family and it was irresponible of him to even comment on this story.

Howard Gutman may have integrity, blah, blah blah. BUT, he sure infuriated me! What Howard said was very mean and ignorant. Yes, I believe he was sincere when he said it. He may cost Obama some votes if he doesn’t put a lid on it.

Never mind firing Gutman….How about not electing Obama. Everytime his associates are caught saying something we all know Obama agrees with…He comes up with some B.S. answer…Like I wasn’t in the pew, on the days his Rev. Wright…his confident…his spiritual leader for more then 20 years…Yeah Right. Oh yes let’s not forget his association with Farrakan. Oh yes, then there’s Obama’s presidental stratigest, William Aires. As they sat in Aires’home, making all the plans how to prepare to run. Aires his friend & neighbor,the famous Terrorist. He called him a Main Stream Citizen. All these people whom he got caught having close association with, why haven’t they been in the fore front campagining with him… Just wait if you sheep like followers elect Obama… what how they all come out from under their slimy rocks their hiding under and change this country for the worse. Remember, be careful what you ask for (change) you just might get it!!!!
