Obama the Poor Victim
Posted on September 6, 2008
Sarah Palin’s popular rise as the new star of this election has Obama feeling blue. He’s on the defensive now and he is milking the victim card for all it’s worth.
“I know that I’m not your typical presidential candidate,” Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told executives and employees of the Schott glass company Friday afternoon, “and I just want to be honest with you. I know that.”
“And I know that the temptation is to say, ‘You know what? …The guy hasn’t been there that long in Washington.,’ You know, ‘he’s got funny name,’ You know, ‘we’re not sure about him,’” Obama continued. “And that’s what the Republicans, when they say, ‘This isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities,’ what they’re really saying is, ‘We’re going to try to scare people about Barack. So we’re going to say that you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections or we’re going to say that, you know, he hangs out with radicals or he’s not patriotic.’
What a load of B.S.! Has the conservative blogosphere argued some of these points. Absolutely! Has the McCain campaign? Clearly, no. However, they should start focusing on how he hangs out with radicals. Obama is definitely starting to sound desperate as he plays the poor victim card.
Obama, you poor baby, let me give you some free advice. Nobody likes a whiner.
Curious the connections, friends, and mentors the media considers acceptable and disqualifying!
Hamas terrorist, domestic terrorists, the racist anti-semitic radical Jeremiah Wright: Fine! None of your business! Stop being so racist!
God, Jesus, a standard Christian church: Gob-smackingly vile!

No BO, it’s not because you haven’t been in Washington for long — we are lovin’ Gov. Palin aren’t we? It’s not because you have a funny name — we will all be voting for Piyush Jindal for president in the next few years. It’s not because of what you are REALLY implying and have said in the past — that you are black — we would all vote for Michael Steele, Herman Caine, Lynn Swan, JC Watts, Ken Blackwell and other strong conservatives, and we all revere Clarence Thomas.
People who actually work for a living, doing jobs you’d never do (can’t mess with that man-icure), aren’t rejecting you because they are drooling xenophobes. They are rejecting you because of the power you wish to wrest from the people in favor of accruing more power (over things as intimate as individual healthcare decisions) to the federal government than it has ever had and the grants and funding you would funnel to the most radical grassroots organizations after crippling the economy with the largest tax increases in American history.
This guy thinks he can keep using this ridiculous line?
