Piper shows the same concern that her mother does for her sibling. Maybe not the cleanest way, but al; the more caring.

    You CAN”T lose with a spit-comb.

  3. H. Barclay on September 4th, 2008 9:18 am

This was literally the most loving thing I’ve ever seen. She “luffs” her brudda!

Gov. Palin has a beautiful family. There is a lot of love there. McCain & Palin have my vote.

This is exactly something my grandson would do. Andrew Sullivan claims she was poking him in the eye at one point. Apparently, Sulli hasn’t ever “picked a boogie” out of his new baby brothers eye. lol

The political “pundits” are nuts if they think woman and men are not going to vote for Sara Palin. Pittbulls for lipstick and sara.I remember doing this spit cimbing many times on my baby brother- you go girl

Piper for President–in 40 years! You can tell from her on-stage presence that she is taking it all in and loves it. Also, it seems to me she will be the family member who most misses her mother if Sarah is VP…but then, she doesn’t seem to have suffered from being the fourth child.

Piper certainly is her mother’s daughter. Watch for her in the coming years. She has shown more poise than people three times her age. What a star!!

LOL Poor kid! I hated when my mother did that to me. I guess it goes to show, some things never stop. Absolutely the best way to keep a babies hair down! :)

    On a serious note.
Piper is mothering her brother the way she learned from her own parents.
These people have alot of guts. They have enough love to keep their lives normal and are not going to back down. The Palin’s parent their children the way they learned from their own Mothers and Fathers. Look at the care, and love and courage the family has to try do the right thing for the family.
We must support them with emails every day, and pull out your wallets if you really care We are poor, but I sent them 25 dollars of my grocery money. I do not want my taxes to go up. Plus, Palin has a plan to get the joibs back by developing in the lower 48 what she did in her state. All of our children deserve a future, not run by the Chicago mob, Resko’s minions, Barbara/Saran-DONE-Baldwin idiot commies.
We will all now officially lick our hands in the grocery store and smooth our children’s hair as a secret sign that we support Palin.
We don’t want to get tasered by a lib.

My Wonder Woman and I saw this and chuckled. Sooooo very normal. Imagine the horror manufactured personalities like Andrew Sullivan and his ilk must feel at whatever remains of a visceral level whenever they view normal behavior.

Have to appreciate the Palins for interjecting some rality-based reality into the reality-based fantasy of the Dhims… and the Reps.

    What a li’l Sistalove!

This was the best part of the speech. Baby Trig being loved and handed from one family to another. Even Cindy lovingly holding him. The extended families helping out. Piper is a pistol, she is sooooooo cute. Spit applied with love is unequaled. Baby Trig is so lucky.

Awwwwww. Adorable. What a good big sister she is trying to be.

It’s sappy but true. Makes your heart just open up.

My wife and I saw this last night and were absolutely floored. We have seven children and that kind of show of love and attention is so typical in our family.

    Bravo Piper.

  19. Ojisan on September 4th, 2008 4:30 pm

Children are reflection of their parents.
What Piper did to her brother…PRICELESS!

  20. Common Sense on September 4th, 2008 4:32 pm

Oh, Adar, you’re right! How irresponsible! Why, that baby might just catch… a COLD! That would be tragic!

  22. Lisa Miller on September 4th, 2008 5:04 pm

I think it is my best post ever… {and I have been blogging for 2 months]

You saw Miss Congeniality last night.

Sarah the Barracuda will be making appearances soon.

Our Sarah does not play the victim game… Not ever…

Palin’s speech was well delivered but overall horrible! where were all of the issues that are concerning most people? oh wait, she spent her whole speech speaking poorly about obama.

she should stay in alaska! how can she run the US if she cant even run her family of 7!

  25. loboinok on September 4th, 2008 7:28 pm

    that was trash!

Said the fine representative of the culture of death and our Marxist Portland University. Apparently upset that one got away.

  26. loboinok on September 4th, 2008 7:35 pm

she spent her whole speech speaking poorly about obama.

Something that would take hours, unfortunately, she only had about 40 minutes.

how can she run the US if she cant even run her family of 7!

Much better than Pelosi does… I suspect.

  27. Terry on September 5th, 2008 2:00 pm

Sarah should tone down the sarcasm in her speeches and be herself. You don’t get that kind of love in the family (as shown by Piper toward her little brother) if there’s a lot of sarcasm from the mother. The sarcastic parts of her speech at the Convention were obviously written by the speech writers. I hope she’ll be allowed to be herself and let her kindness shine through naturally. Otherwise, she would end up being just another Washington politician.
