Google Chrome Part 2

To follow up on my quick post on Google Chrome, it is still lightning fast. It is a great platform for cruising the Interwebz. Not so great for blogging. When you do a cut and paste from other sites into the Wordpress visual editor, it adds TONS of font scripts which come from the browser, not the website. Can always paste using the html mode, of course.

It also doesn’t seem to remember fill in boxes, such as when you are leaving comments.

Can’t figure out a way to add bookmarks. Searching in the page is not as easy as with Firefox and Opera. But, hey, it is really early in development.

One interesting feature is the Incognito window. With this, there is nothing that will be saved when you close the window. No browsing history, no cookies, nada. So, it is great for cruising p0rn sites or other filth, like the Democratic Underground, Daily Kos, etc.

i wish it had more of FireFox’s history viewing, including tabs recently closed, etc.

It needs a way to clear out cookies except the ones you want to keep. what about cookies for pages that use them to store config data? C-Cleaner doesn’t recognise chrome yet, so it would be good if it didn’t have to.
