Fred Thompson on McCain: Character We Can Believe In

Fred knocked this one out of the park. The feeble foundation that Obama based his entire standing on, just got ripped out from under him. His empty rhetoric of hope and change can’t work for long when there is no substance and character behind the talk.

“Ronald Reagan was John McCain’s hero. And President Reagan admired John tremendously. But when the President proposed putting U.S. troops in Beirut, John McCain, a freshman Congressman, stood up and cast a vote against his hero because he thought the deployment was a mistake. My friends … that is character you can believe in.”

Just got home from the RNC and Fred Thompson was definitely the highlight of the convention so far. He told McCain’s dramatic personal story injected with some of his own brand of humor and did indeed skewer Obama. If Thompson had given more speeches like this he might have fared better in the primaries. What got me was when he implied that while Obama uses “hope” as a campaign slogan, McCain used hope as a means of survival.

Yessir. Wonderful, fired-up, and ready to go.
    Thompson was electric.
And Sarah Palin is the most exciting thing to happen to the Republican Party in decades.

241 American servicemen died in Beirut.
Voting against Ronald Reagan in 1983 was right.

4,151 American soldiers died in Iraq, so far.
Voting WITH George W. Bush from 2003 to 2008 is also right.

God knows how many Americans will die in the future, but John McCain will always be right. No matter what.

Don’t be an idiot. He won’t always be right, but he can be trusted to do what he thinks is right no matter how unpopular. His proven character gives reason to trust his judgement.

4,151 Americans died in IRAQ to give Iraq Freedom and rights they never had before. But Millions Died from the dictator that ruled IRAQ and Millions more would have died if the Dictator was not removed! Millions of Iraqis lives have been saved from the 4,151 Americans who gave there lives to give life to another! You will never hear that fact from the liberals or the MSM!

So the point is that the liberals are ok with anyone in this world murdered by killers as long as Americans don’t die.

No one should die in this world but there are people out there who don’t care about life and its are job to remove these threats from the world. Just think if the United States did nothing to stop these people. Millions of people every year would be murdered. Now that is ok with the liberals just as killing a baby is ok with liberals!
