Latest Palin Controversy: She Prayed that God Would Guide National Leaders!!!

Update: Amazing! MSNBC have actually picked up on this non-controversy and are taking it seriously.
Here is the latest nonsense in the political witch hunt on Sarah Palin! She actually said the following contoversial statement to a Pentacostal Church!
“Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God,” she exhorted the congregants. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.”
Holy moley! This is, of course, offensive to Obamatons because it is direct violation of Article 1 of the moonbat Constitution, also known as the “living document” which strictly forbids political figures from expressing religious speech. Not only this, but this kind of “provocative worldview” is in opposition to the teachings of Obama’s mentor which teaches, “God bless America? No, no,no! God damn America!”

Uhm… I must have been sleeping through that class on the U.S. Constitution because I recall that it said, “Congress shall MAKE NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion, or PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE thereof; or ABRIDGING the freedom of speech [...]
Seems to me that forbidding a political figure to express their religious convictions (in church, of all places) would be prohibiting the free exercise thereof AND abridging the freedom of speech…

She forgot to pray to Al Gore, the High Priest of Global Warming, and worship at the alter of abortion on demand.
We’ve reached a point in this country where God-talk is mandatory for all politicians – it’s just a matter of more or less.
Imo, it invites precisely the kind of religious hypocrisy that Jesus repeatedly decries in the gospels.
Then check your hypocrisy-indicator.
Learn to tell the difference and you can identify the real thing from the rhetoric of hipocrites quite easily.
And did you notice in that prayer, how wise she was that in addition to a generic prayer for the leaders, she did NOT state that the war or “task” was or was not of God, but was praying (1) that there is a plan, and (2) that whatever the plan is is actually God’s plan, not a wrong one — yet, I’ve already read on a lib blog, that she supposedly prayed that Iraq is part of God’s plan — and she explicitly made a point of NOT doing that, of NOT mixing religion and state, NOT saying a certain foreign policy is God approved. Incredible.
