Fred Thompson: Palin Is The Only Person From Either Side That Has Any Executive Experience
Posted on September 2, 2008
Fred makes several good points in this video like the left’s meltdown and the excitement Sarah Palin is bringing to the ticket. He also makes a point that I thought about too. All the attacks on how little experience she has to be the VP is B.S.! Not only does she have much more experience than Barack Obama, but she is the only person from either side that has any executive experience. By the way, the office of VP and President is in the executive branch. You could argue that she is more qualified experience-wise to be president than anyone else on either ticket.

I thought the VP was part of the legislature. I’m confused.
And seriously… claiming that Palin has meaningful experience is pretty silly. If you want to hammer Obama for not having enough experience, that’s cool, but don’t try to make her into something she’s not. Embrace her for what she is rather than trying to pretend she’s everything to everybody.
Jeffy sounds like he’s upset about something.
I think Machiny makes too many assumptions. I think Obama and McCain are equally bad candidates. That second paragraph was just friendly advice from someone who doesn’t have a stake in this election. By all means, though, keep crowing about the incredible experience she gained in her 18 months as the governor of the 47th most populous state if you really don’t care about your credibility.
