   Well what do you expect. The flags were props for THE ONE’s big media event. Once they were done with the camera shots their real feelings were shown!!!!

   Someone on the Hillary Forum Posted this from an unsourced page at Wikipedia:

   DNC Credentials Disrespect The Flag

   Some viewers contacted 9NEWS Saturday, questioning the design of the credentials to see Sen. Barack Obama accept the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination at INVESCO Field at Mile High.

   The viewers say with the stars and blue field in the lower left corner, it looks like an upside down American flag. Published flag etiquette states the stars should always be displayed in the upper left corner. An upside down flag represents an international symbol of extreme distress.

   Matt Chandler with the Obama campaign says the flag is not upside down. He says it is a stylized flag designed to blend the stars on Senator Obama’s shirt with the flag blowing in the wind.

   Natalie Wyeth with the Democratic National Convention Committee sent 9NEWS the following statement Saturday night: “The DNCC community credentials incorporate patriotic design elements. They do not depict an actual American flag.

   J.R.’s Take: More proof that the Democratic party has been hijacked by the Anti-America crowd who won’t pledge allegiance to the flag, wont salute the flag and take every opportunity to disrespect it !

   All the comment about Obama Convention throw US Flags in the Trash is so stupid. There are better things to worry about then that. I so distinguished how people make things like that an issue. Please move on to important this like helping people out of poverty or have a effective and efficient economy.

   Well, Mary. I’m sorry that you find this subject so stupid. However, you might be surprised to discover that you are in a very small minority.
   In the two days that this post has been up at Radarsite it has received over 5,000 readers — over 2,000 from that particular Democratic forum mentioned in the article. So I guess that proves that there are an awful lot of stupid people out there — the vast majority of whom are Democrats.

   Hi, what do you expect from a man who does not nor will not salute the flag or even bother to place his hand over his heart. He wants elected. If it happens then may god have mercy on all of us.

    To those who ask, “What’s the big deal?” about trashing our flag, I suggest they ask those Marines on Iwo Jima what it meant to them when that flag was raised on Mt. Suribachi, or to the POWs in Jap or German camps who saw that flag on their rescuers’ vehicles, or to the peoples of countries we liberated, or the firemen who raised the flag over the ruins of the Twin Towers or . . .
    Enter “raising the American flag” in your search engines if you still don’t get the concept.

    I would rather them throw away a US flag that I am sure was made in China that would eventually be thrown away any way. How many .50 flags do you still have in your house that your kids brought home from the 4th of July. I want someone that cares about the people of the US rather then some $.50 flag. The american people are getting screwed and thrown in the trash daily and no one cares about them. The whole political system is a bunch of b.s. I’m tired of all the back and forth. Lets put that in the garbage. I want the truth. I’m tired of hearing about who is going to pay the most taxes. A real president that wanted true honest taxes would put in place the fair tax plan. I’m voting for Obama because he is the better of the 2 not because he is the best this country has to offer. I’m tired of hearing MCcain say he is going to protect us from the terrorist when our military is over in another country. Is he going to “CHANGE” into Rambo and kill all the terrorist when they try to attack us our on turf himself. Where was MCcainbo during 911? No one can protect us from terrorist. The best protection would be to bring home the military and put them on all borders and all ship docks,and airport terminals instead of in Iraq guarding oil. Speaking of oil why are we just now doing something about the shortage? We have known about this shortage for at least 10 years. It is funny how gas prices stopped going up as the republican popularity was going down. HMMM
    I think that it was great that MCcain served in the military, but that does not mean that he will be a great president. If so I say we elect my dad he was in Vietnam too.
    I’m also tired of the Bushanity. You would have to look very very hard for a real Christian anywhere in politics. Bushanity is using God to get what you want. It’s very popular now days. If it gets people what they want they’ll say why yes sign me up for that Jesus thing. As long as the politician says that he believes in God and will vote against abortion the “Bushtian” is ready to vote. I’m against abortion myself but there are a whole lot of other sins being committed in the white house then abortion alone. Stealing,taking advantage of the weak,bribery,fornication,adultry,murder but all the Bushtians say they care about is that they call themselves a “christian” and are against abortion. No president is going succeed in overturning the abortion laws unless Jesus Christ is elected and he is not running for office. Wake up America!

    Get a grip! You make some pretty wild allegations about what goes on in the White House. Have you been asleep for the past 8 years? Those thing really did take place in the Clinton White House. President Bush is a decent man and only the kooks on the extreme left can’t admit it.
    Go back to sleep. You’re in for another 12+ years of the ‘adults’ who love this country being in charge.

    Republicans have been trashing the United States of America for 8 years…McCain needs to focus on Americans…he has property that does not belong to him…the flags are stolen because they were not in the trash and do not be long to McCain and his fools…

    McCain has been telling and creating lies for years…The flags left behind were the property of the DNC…the worker at Invesco Field in Denver that found the flags should have reported his finding to the Invesco Field Management Team. I have worked events for years and things get left behind…we are called and the property is picked up or forwarded. This man stole this flags if he failed to report what he found to the people that own the flags. So McCain accepted stolen property and used it to create a lie. When property is left behind by the people running the event (Democratic National Convention) the people at Invesco Field should have reported their finding to the Democratic National Convention. How can the DNC property be turned over to the RNC without notifying the DNC? This sounds very…very…very strange to me…

    The management team at Invesco Field had responsibility of reporting to the DNC that the flags were left behind…

    The flags were stolen by Republicans and forwarded to the RNC…

    I am an event planner…I know that this is just not right….I hope that Americans can see through it….

    McCain and his fools have turned this election process in a 3 ring lying circus that thinks Americans are stupid….

    This is appalling, but not shocking coming from the obama campaign. Obama, through his actions and associates, has made no bones about his disdain for America and all things American. Obama, through his words, has hoodwinked and bamboozled most of the youth of our nation, African Americans and a certain segment of elitist whites who suffer from some misplaced white guilt to the point where they would follow this woefully unqualified and unprincipled candidate off a cliff. Now it seems they have also inherited his and his friend William Ayers disdain for the American flag.

    Perhaps Obama could have averted this unpleasantry by giving his Bots little flags depicting his rising sun symbol. After all, he painted over the American flag on his plane to display his symbol in its stead.

    As a retired Army veteran, this treatment of the American flag makes me ill.

    “Power-hungry, at all costs” is really the driving characteristic of the Democratic party, and has been since the days of their founding under Jackson (don’t blame Jefferson for their shame). But after that, “condescending” is their defining characteristic. And this flag flap is evidence.

    By itself this flag incident might be no big deal to some folks. And others might argue that we’ve gone too far and turned the flag into a religion. One picture I’ve seen as evidence looks like neatly rolled up flags to be put back into storage or transported to the next event (heck, we use trash bags in our local GOP to store our full size podium flags, because they provide good protection).

    But all of that misses the bigger point. Connect the dots. Many — I’ve come to the conclusion, “most” — Democrats don’t understand or care about the philosophy upon which our country was founded. All they want is power to force other people to behave as the Democrats see fit.

    To admittedly oversimplify, they don’t like real freedom, and prefer a nation of order and privileges such as safety blankets and other government largess. History has shown the unrealistic nature of this goal. But if there is any chance of making their sad dream a reality, it requires a byzantine network of rules. And yet they act as if the rules don’t apply to them. They want to “save the world”, bring “order out of chaos”, and in so many other ways set themselves up as gods (so, of course they think the rules don’t apply to them) through their proxy, big government.

    In short, they just don’t “get it.” They don’t get what this country is about. They don’t get the principles which make it great. Instead, they have such a condescending opinion of people that they prefer to force folks to their will by government fiat (which is to say, by deadly force). And since they don’t “get” our country, they don’t respect it.

    In other words, the recurring flag incidents are just part of the ongoing pattern of lack of respect for the USA and what the USA is about. It’s part of an ongoing pattern of their lack of respect for humankind.

    At it’s most elemental level, that’s YOU they’re throwing away. People who understand that are the ones who are maddest.

    But don’t stop connecting the dots yet. That’s YOU they want to “recycle.” To Democrats, we’re all Soylent Green.

    Think that’s too strong a metaphor? Why stop at metaphor? Democrats are the party with the record of treating humans as commodities. For much of their history they were the party who advocated slavery. Now they advocate the treatment of conceived but unborn humans as commodities. What’s next? After all, of our two major parties the Democrats are the fascist one, and have been since their founding.

    Most people who have or take the time to honestly research political parties understand all of this. But there is only so much time on TV, and only so much space in the papers.

    So it’s simply, “Democrats trash the flag.” I’ll say it with a clear conscience, because they have it coming.
