Sen. Joe Biden described perfectly

One of those things I wish I had said…

Earlier, I had characterized Sen. Biden as such:

…really nothing but a dim and windy aristocrat, an insider’s insider who has been around for so long mainly because, well, he has always been there.

Scott Johnson, though, nails it much closer to the target for which I was searching.

All things considered, including her political views, her record in office, her personal attributes, her complementarity with John McCain and her authentic appeal, Sarah Palin may be the best person for the job. She is almost certainly a good one for the job, especially compared with Joe Biden, whose executive responsibilities have been limited to running his mouth.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZing.

Can’t wait till the vice-presidential debates. She might add Biden’s hide to her wall.

Joe Biden is an insider, so is Mcain, so is Obama. They are all insiders, and Palin will be before November if she isn’t already. The lobbyists, the PACs, the journalists and the lawyers will all be bending her ear non stop for the next several weeks. Remember they’re all politicians and thus all liars and you can’t become a congressmen, a mayor, or even be elected dog catcher without being an “insider”. And by the way they’re all aristocrats, they’re all rich and powerfull!
Also a question for Jeff Miller, the previous poster, who are the other hides on her wall? Is she known as an exemplary debater?

Jonah Goldberg nailed it a few years ago when he wrote, “The man loves his voice so much, you’d expect him to be following it around in a grey Buick, in defiance of restraining order, as it walks home from school.”

    Mike Carey,

There is a bear hide draped over her office couch. A grizzly bear her father shot.
