Palin is praising Clinton on the trail as the GOP woos the New York senator’s supporters.
WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania (CNN) – This might not be the best way to reach out to those disillusioned Hillary Clinton supporters.

In just her second appearance on the campaign trail with John McCain, newly-minted GOP running mate Sarah Palin was showered with boos on Saturday for attempting to praise Clinton’s trail-blazing bid to become the first female president.

As she did at in her debut speech in Ohio yesterday, Palin appealed to the women in the crowd here in Pennsylvania with a political shout-out to Geraldine Ferraro, who preceded Palin as the first women to be tapped as a vice presidential candidate. The reference was met with polite applause.

But in contrast with the mild reception that greeted the comment at the Ohio event, when Palin praised Clinton here for showing “determination and grace in her presidential campaign,” the Alaska governor was met with a noisy mix of boos, groans and grumbles around the minor league ballpark where the “Road to the Convention Rally” was held.

Palin quickly recovered, promising the audience that female candidates weren’t yet finished, and that she and McCain were on their way to victory in November.

Yes, she will not appeal to those that want the government to get their education, health care, and you name it for them on a silver platter. Of course these same constituents do not realize the money for these programs only go so far after 30% adminstration costs, and paying off crooks, because crooks are always where there is money. Cut the money and the crooks will leave. Downsize the USA government and bring back civility.

Serve mine with independence from the government and I will make my own way outside of government indulgence.

To me the only ones who don’t get it are Republicans. They are the people who right now who have jobs and haven’t had to worry about these issues. But wait!!! – your day is just around the corner. Maybe tommorrow these Republican Values are going to bite you in the ass too!! You’ll be on ther side of the fence then you’ll realize how you have been deceived. Because the people with their Republicans ideals are the ones empowered are in the positions making the choices are which are affecting your everyday life. These people are the ones who won’t admit it publicly but carry hidden prejudices as to race, age, sex and economics. And for the RIGHT TO LIFE PEOPLE ask yourself – “Do you really need to the state to tell you what is right (Pro-Life) or what is wrong (Pro-Choice)? God gave you your own mind. Well, USE IT!!!! This election is about your economic future, health and retirement not about abortion! People need to have God in their life and with that you’ll make the right choice. I voted for Bush twice(which I have lived to regret-what a liar he is). He promised to change it- did he??? Will McCain change it? The answer is no !! This is an issue only between that person and God – I prayfor that person that they make the right choice.

Oh, by the way I was my high school freshman class president, so I too am qualified to the second highest position in the land!

I’ve been wanting Palin for ages, but never thought McCain would actually do it.

Sure she has left her kids, and I’m a stay at home mom. Does that bother me? Yeah, a little. But from what I hear, her husband cares for them. As long as there’s a parent consistently there, I’m fine with that.

She’s awesome. She speaks amazingly well with no notes.

We are looking at the future President of the United States, whether or not McCain wins. This won’t be the last of her.
