Sarah Palin Slams Biden on Energy; Drill, Drill, Drill!

Another good reason Palin was an awesome pick. She has a lot of good ideas on energy!

Greg weighs in: This is hilarious because Gov. Palin points out that Joe Biden, 30 years ago, tried to kill the Alaskan pipeline. Kind of takes the sting out of Obama’s phony critique last night of McCain’s record. B.O. sez: “Washington’s been talking about our oil addiction for the last thirty years, and John McCain has been there for twenty-six of them. In that time, he’s said no to higher fuel-efficiency standards for cars, no to investments in renewable energy, no to renewable fuels. And today, we import triple the amount of oil as the day that Senator McCain took office.” What would it have been had Biden had his way? Also important to point out — Obama is lying about McCain’s record on fuel efficiency standards. McCain also has a comprehensive and aggressive plan on alternative energy (including some elements I completely reject, BTW), so you might call the other claims false as well.
