John, I don't know where you get the sixteen years of experience from but the truth is Palin has executive experience while Obama has none, period. She also has more government experience than Obama. She was city council (and if obamas "community organizer" days are pertinent how can city council not be?) for four years, she was mayor for 6 years (we're at 10 years here) and won the governors office in 2006 (without party backing I might add) and has been doing that for two years.

She has been a governor (an executive position) as long as obama has been a senator (a legislative position-see the difference?) and was in government service since 1992. That was the year obama was working on project hope.

As you can see she has tons more experience than obama, and may I add none of the questionable associations (like terrorists) that obama has, has not dabbled in illegal drugs (which obama has) has a proven track record of fighting corruption (which obama lacks) and is pretty much everything the conservative base stands for.

Palin is mccains checkmate. Obama will not win. He is corrupt, shady and a socialist. If anyone is a hypocrite it is obama for constantly saying he is his brothers keeper while his brother lives in squalor in kenya.

Brothers keeper indeed.

I have two words in response – “President Palin”.

The choice of Palin completely undercuts McCain’s main argument, that Obama is “dangerously inexperienced” to be President. How can he possibly believe that when he choses someone even LESS experienced (and younger than Obama) as President if McCain becomes incapacitated. McCain’s in reasonably good health for his age, but he is in his seventies, he’s had four bouts with cancer, and he’s seeking one of the most stressfull jobs in the world.

I understand that the conservative base will be pleased with her over Romney or Ridge, and I’m an Obama supporter myself, so obviously this choice doesn’t affect my vote, but for those that are still listing to the arguments and trying to decide – I’ve got to believe this makes McCain’s main argument against Obama look pretty hypocritical.

And few undecideds or independants are going to buy the argument that she has "16 years" of experience. Being Mayor of MooseJaw doesn't quite cut it for anyone but those that support McCain already.

Uh, your math is faulty. Sarah Palin has 5.1 times the experience as governor alone, as Barry has as senator before starting his bid for the presidency.

Two years versus 143 days. 5.1 TIMES the experience.
