Figure #1 of the Dudley paper quoted above shows that atmospheric O2 levels have ranged from around 13% up to around 35%. It would appear to be extraordinarily difficult to determine atmospheric O2 levels for the previous “thousands of years and probably much longer than that” from a chart with a time axis of 600 million years presented within a span of 2 inches or so.

I would suggest it is better to analyze and critique the data Mr. Tatchell used t oform his opinion, rather than by contrasting his point of view with a random blogger’s inaccurate assessment of a scientific paper.

I completely agree. Every day the Left is attacking science. In addition, 10-100 years later they are found out to be wrong. They say the weather is changing. Well everybody knows that. That’s how we had Noah’s flood 4,400 years ago. Then they say we don’t believe that. However, their weather forecast is usually wrong. So why do we have to believe them when they say that they know what the weather was millions of years ago. I am a former atheist and have realized that the only Truth is God. The Bible teaches the Earth is 6,000 years old. I came to God because I realized the “science” the Left uses is not science but a religion that is about getting rid of God.
