Thank you Machine, but I did already re read that last sentence, and I decided — perhaps mistakingly — that that last word “good” was a mistake. However, if the mistake was mine, then all I can say is that, in his attempt at satire, he made a pretty convincing argument for our side. lol

You’re right, Peter. So many people today are cowards, that’s all there is to it. The West is far from perfect, and it has been even less perfect in the past, but frankly, even the British Empire in the 18th century was more moral by modern standards than the Nazi or Communist empires of the 20th, or the Islamic imperialists of today. Russia, China, Islamists…they just don’t give a crap about individual rights and freedoms. Americans were asked to give up far more liberties during the Civil War and WWII than they have been asked to give up thus far in 8 years of conflict, with many of the enemy already on our soil, and still others of the enemy seeking WMDs beyond anything the Japanese or Germans possessed, yet the Left bitches and moans about the Patriot Act and FISA. It’s pathetic.

Most of those claiming moral equivalency know full well that we are the good guys. Thing is, they’re scared of the bad guys. They don’t want a knife thrust in them, holding down a hate-filled note like that Van Gogh feller over in Holland.
So they rail against Bush and tell each other how brave they are.

Finally, someone strong willed enough steps forward to declare, once and for all, that this IS a war of good vs. evil. You don’t know how long I have waited for the PC training wheel kid gloves to come off and the human world to kick the job into transforming culture into high gear, kudos! Without a doubt I am now more excited about the future than ever, because now we can all get down to the riveting business of doing what’s to be done. You have sincerely made my day a better one! Think of the trouble some people get into when it is suggested that they see this as good vs evil, as a war against Islam. Look at LTG.(Ret) William G. Boykin and the hell his life was turned into by a “journalist” who never even bothered to interview Boykin to get the truth.

William M. Arkin started the entire pack of lies, others jumped on the bandwagon.
